Integrate iOS Proton Drive to transfer files via Share from any application to Proton Drive Mobile
Currently unable to transfer files to Proton Drive via Share. For example a photo from Photos on an iPhone I decide to put on Proton Drive – I cannot transfer via share (no Proton Drive shortcut available, only Proton Mail)

Hmm… this is already possible. I do it all the time.

Yes, adding a shortcut to the share sheet would be great. The Files app interface is clunky at best. Enabling it also means you can't have a passcode or faceid protecting it for a second level of auth.

I would like to have something like Airdrop or Near by sharing. So, Sharing Menu > Proton Drive > a list of all devices that are logged in my Acc : select one > file, photo.. send to selected device and if the device is online it send with an push notification, if it's offline, it will become the file send, when it's online or with something like a push notification at startup. This would be an amazing feature. Just imagine how this would fast up everything! (°^-^°)

I think I have been doing this as of 4/19/2024. works great love it for iOS other than I cant see my other "My Computers" within the app.

Um for everyone saying you cant do this you already can
You need to add proton drive to the iOS files app
Then from there you would share to files and you select proton drive in there -

Not sure if possible but it would be great for this to work both directions (ie upload from the phone but also grant specific apps access to specific files from Drive to use with specific permissions)

It is absolutely necessary to integrate this functionality because without it, the Drive loses its interest... especially when you take out a paid Family subscription...

The absence of this feature is hands down the greatest shortcoming of ProtonDrive for me. Since I've started using ProtonDrive more often recently I often find myself in the Photos app of iOS with the desire to transfer a photo to ProtonDrive. However, all I can do is use a workaround. I usually share with ProtonMail, then start up my Linux desktop, save the attachments from the e-mail, then upload them to ProtonDrive. This very clumsy and time-consuming. It drives me nuts. I'm surprised that this feature only has 43 votes, including three from me. Does anyone else have a better workaround while we wait for this to be implemented?

This is absolutely critical, we need a way to copy files to our proton drive from other apps in our IOS phones
Need to be able to send from proton mail directly to proton pass directly.
