Yeah, the lack of Polish currency, or generally the support for a custom currency is annoying.

Add support for Polish Złoty (PLN / zł) as currency formatting option.

Currently the localization settings to format numbers or dates seems to be locked into the OS locale or hardcoded to English.

This setting should be customizable per Sheet to allow for different formatting of data.

It would be helpful to set € as standard and use European numerical system as a standard.

Requested feature:
Add a locale or regional setting that allows users to choose their preferred number format. This could be implemented as:

A spreadsheet-level setting (similar to Google Sheets' locale option)
An account-wide preference in Proton settings
Automatic detection based on browser/system locale

Would be nice if you could add the ability changing regional format, mainly for using a comma instead of a dot as decimal seperator ('8.000,00' instead of '8,000.00')

Currently the only option available seems to be the US month/day/year format.

Funnily, enough, pasting a day/month/year date from a google sheet seems to fix this, but I don't wanna live like this!

In Germany, we also use the comma as a decimal separator and the period to separate thousands. Therefore, a “Set Locale” function, as already suggested, would be very useful.

There are already a bunch of requests for "add currency for <country>", so it's clear there is demand for this. It was certainly the first thing I noticed trying to set up a budget spreadsheet.

As per title, just needs support for ZAR as a formatting option in Proton Sheets > Format > Number > Currencies.

Add support for Swedish Crowns (SEK) as currency formatting option.

I believe many of the feature requests relaated to Sheets would be solved with a 'set locale' configuration or something similar.

In Brazil, we also follow a different format: point (.) separate thousands, and comma (,) separate decimals.

Add support for Brazilian Real (BRL) as a formatting option in Proton Sheets, under the menu 'Format > Number > More Currency'. The name, following the pattern, would be 'R$ Brazilian Real'.

In the Czech Republic, spaces are used to separate thousands and a comma is used as the decimal separator (instead of a dot). Would it be possible to add this number formatting behaviour to the document settings?

Eg: 1 000 001,12 (one million two point twelve)

There may also be other national formats out there.

Similar to the request for Swiss currencies, I would like to ask for the support of Czech Crowns (Kč).
