  1. Lors du partage par lien depuis drive, proposer de ne pas proposer le téléchargement

    proposer de ne pas afficher le bouton télécharger ne bloque pas en réalité le téléchargement cela le rend moins instinctif et cela serait une première étape. Dans un deuxième temps bloquer réellement le téléchargement serait parfait.

  4. Add versioning for Excel files

    Each modification to an excel file causes the current version to be replaced during the synchronisation process.
    Enable versioning on this type of file too.

  5. Option to Overwrite Older Files

    You have the option to overwrite existing files, but it BADLY needs an option to overwrite only older files, so I can backup entire large folder structures, yet only actually transfer new and changed files. This would slash the amount of time and bandwidth used on both our ends. When I've got newer files sprinkled all through my folders it's not practical to just selectively copy them and choose overwrite.

  6. Scroll

    It would be great if there was a scroll button that allows us to quickly scroll through our drive like Google has. My family moved to proton for more space and this feature would make it way worth it.

    As well, the images have a hard time loading in the main screen. You have to click an image and let it load before it shows. Videos are worse.

  7. Sync parent folder containing subfolders containing albums

    Currently the Proton Drive Android app lets you sync local folders, but with a limitation: if you have a big folder containing multiple subfolders (like that you get out from a Google Photos takeout), the Android app shows all the subfolders individually, instead of letting you choose any of the parent folders. Selecting these subfolders can be tiresome if you have photos spanning 15 years. It would be really nice to have more flexibility in the choice of the folders to sync.

  8. Add an "upload photos only while device is charging" option to the Android app

    OneDrive's mobile app has an option for its camera backup to only backup photos while the device is charging. I would like to see this added to ProtonDrive. I dislike how currently it instantly uploads as soon as the photo is taken.

    You have recently implemented new languages, the problem is that it is set automatically according to the system language. You cannot change it either within the app or within the settings app in the language for apps section

  10. MacOS 15.0 dev beta - drive broken

    Heads up to dev team. Uninstalled the drive, authenticated normally. Connection to drive is broken. Error message: "Proton Drive encountered an unexpected error". Mail, Calendar, Pass and VPN are all okay.

  11. Add exclusions for trash folders

    Please add an ability to exclude certain folders from having deleted files landing in trash. We should be able to mark certain folders as excluded, where if they're deleted, they're deleted for good.

  12. Option for synced photos to maintain original folder structure

    A setting for mirroring the original storage file/folder structure when photos are backed-up would make searching, managing and retrieving files less daunting.

  13. Increase Proton paid plans' storage for free

    "Proton Mail Plus" plan's storage space isn't value for money.
    Mail Plus: 15 GB storage, 48 EUR per year.
    Google Drive Free: 15GB, 0 EUR per year.
    Microsoft 365 Basic: 100GB storage, 20 EUR per year.
    Same goes for Proton Unlimited which is too expensive for 500GB space while other cloud providers offer double storage at half the price.

    I appreciate that Proton offers privacy, security and many Mail features. However the storage space it currently offers is unbearably low for the long-term.

  14. Select over range through months inside of photos

    Select SHIFT doesn't seem to work when doing it over months. It works normally when doing it over individual photos, even across months.

  15. Delete local copy of files when logging out

    I would like it if when i log the protondrive app out (from the pc itself or remotely) to have it delete the local files of protondrive aswell.

    When i have used protondrive for a bit on a computer, after that i have to logout and then manually delete the folder to make sure no-one has access to my files afterwards.

    This is a feature that should atleast have exsisted if you remote logout the app from the browser (like dropbox has incase the device is lost / stolen)

  16. Option to remove Windows Explorer integration

    The windows Explorer integration for Proton is pretty good overall - but still, I prefer to have my drive apps be as unobtrusive as possible.

    Is there any chance there can be a toggle in the settings of the Proton Drive desktop app to remove Explorer integration?

  17. Multiple recycling bins for different synced devices

    When syncing a folder on a PC for example, based on the type of folder that is synced, many little files might get deleted and move to the recycling bin regularly, where every other deleted file needs to be searched in the flood if you wanted to recover it.

    If there were different recycle bins, like one for the main drive, one for device 1, one for device 2..., files that you want to recover would be easier to find, as they are already sorted in a simple way.

  18. Show previews for RAW image files

    As a Photographer, its so important to be able to see previews of my RAW files in my cloud backup, it's currently impossible to find the photos I need easily, which makes it really hard for me to justify moving away from Google Drive, which I'm keen to do.

  20. Programming: No spaces in Proton Drive Desktop sync path ("My files" folder cannot be renamed)

    The root "My files" sync directory where all files reside under contains a space which is problematic for development reasons.

    Currently I have "D:\ProtonDrive\My files\Coding..." and this isn't ideal because it makes dealing with development files tedious in some cases. If "My files" could be renamed to without spaces, this would resolve the issue. The folder cannot be renamed due to Windows permissions (and doing so would probably break things anyway).

    A symbolic link with a spaceless name (e.g. "MyFiles") cannot be created to work around this, again due to permissions (access denied).
