Show users you’ve already shared something with as suggestions when sharing.
Right now, it only shows email addresses you’ve already emailed with. But that’s mostly irrelevant. Users you’ve actually shared stuff with don’t show up at all. Me (and I guess others) have contacts we share things with but have never mailed. These should appear as suggestion when sharing.

Remove spinning save wheel in ProtonDocs
When typing in a Proton Document, the "save" wheel constantly spins. I find this distracting and annoying when trying to focus on what I'm writing. Please fix the UI/UX and make it so that this wheel doesn't always spin. I believe there is a better way that would communicate this information to the user. You could have the notification when someone stops typing, or could give users the option to only save at certain intervals, or simply move between two different, non-animated icons (though it would be necessary to ensure that they are not constantly switching back and forth). Offline support for documents on iOS
When I have no internet on my iPhone and I open Proton Drive, the spinner keeps going indefinitely even if I have offline documents. Having this flow defeats the purpose of having offline documents in the first place because when I am offline I cannot access them.

Start always with capital letter when adding a name of a new folder in proton drive

One click colour selection
For text and highlight colour selection you have to click to pull up the pull-down menu and then click to select/apply the colour.
Once selected the same colour should be one-click to apply to subsequently selected text rather than having to click for the pull-down list and then selecting the colour every time. You should only call up the pull-down menu when you want to change to another colour.4 votes -
Student Discount Options for Proton Duo
The student discount options are very generous but I need more than 500gb. A student discount for Proton Duo would be nice, or an opportunity to purchase Proton Unlimited and expand your cloud service to 1 tb or more.

See backup status of uploaded documents
I think it would be nice to see the upload status/percentage for each file as it’s being uploaded. This is especially helpful when adding a folder as a backup in the “My Computer” tab or when uploading large swaths of files.

Photo Sync - Customizable time table
Currently, Proton Drive (Photos) allows users to back up their photos, including over mobile data, and specifically select where they are uploaded from. But, daily, many users take pictures or screenshots to send to friends and family only to delete them minutes later. Or, take multiple pictures of a single event just to pick out what they like the most and delete the rest. If users don't go into their photo backup regularly, it can be swamped with tons of pictures that users need to parse through and get rid of.

Add a Cheaper/Smaller plan
Add a cheaper and smaller plan for proton Drive for people that do not need as much space but want to pay for the service to help with the privacy mission. Maybe a dollar a month for 30GB or 50GB to compete with a similar option that iCloud offers.

Make docs formatting dropdowns on mobile app more stable
I'm so glad to see more formatting features showing up. On my android, when I go to select a formatting feature, I have to hold down my finger on it and then select it. Otherwise, the dropdown disappears without me being able to select the formatting feature. Thanks.

Fix: When replacing selected text in docs, more text gets deleted than was selected
Maybe it depends on the operating system or browser, but on both my devices (PC and android), I'll select text I don't want anymore. Then I'll type in new text to replace it. But instead of only replacing what I selected, it deletes some extra text that I didn't have selected. So I lose words. If I hit Undo, I might forget the new idea I replaced the old text with. If I don't hit Undo, I forget the words that I didn't want deleted, but which got deleted. This still happens after reinstalling the app and restarting my phone.…

Better icons understanding on Mac (synchro, offline, cloud)
I cant understand icons on my virtual proton drive on osx, some files have a little cloud with an arrow going down, some have nothing .. for a short time I got all my files with a simple cloud without arrow (meaning everything online?)
Actually everything is synchronized and nothing is on my local drive, so I guess there is some kind of problem with Mac UI ... I only see files and folder with cloud + down arrow or no icons at all.
It would be nice to speed up large amount of little sized files upload too, but…

Async changing folder
When a user move multiple documents to another folders, the user needs to wait until all documents are moved wich can tak more then 30 seconds.
As a user I want to wait inder the 3 seconds when moveing document to another folder. Is it possible to do a Async request of changing folders so that the user can continu using the app?

Search bar for mobile app
Include search bar for proton drive in the mobile app. Currently, the only way to search my drive is if I open a browser in desktop mode.

pin login
pardon me if this is covered somewhere else but i didn't see it. it shouldn't be harder to view a proton drive doc than it is to view all my passwords in proton pass. a pin option would be helpful. but more so a sso-like ability per device session makes more sense. when i log on my laptop and sign into one service it seems right that the other services be signed into also. Proton drive mobile application for Mac
It would be nice if on Macs with apple silicon you could install the proton drive app directly from the app store. I am writing this because the current Mac app is completely different from the mobile app and I don't like the way it works. I prefer the app designed for mobile (iPad) and use it on Mac without having to use external apps for forced compatibility
