    Create a password in each folder in Proton Drive, so you must enter the password first to see the files contained in the folder.

  2. Export photos out of Proton Drive

    Please add photo export feature at least in proton drive app for desktop. I want to be able to have an option to stop paying for the subscription(due to payment hurdles for example) and not lose my data

  3. Easy Switch for Proton Drive

    Please implement an equivalent of Easy Switch for Proton Drive. It would be of great benefit in the effort of migrating from OneDrive, Google Drive and Dropbox. It's honestly almost impossible to do manually as I - as of now - has to download everything to my local computer and then upload it to Proton Drive.

  4. Proton Sheets - additional basic number formats

    In the Czech Republic, spaces are used to separate thousands and a comma is used as the decimal separator (instead of a dot). Would it be possible to add this number formatting behaviour to the document settings?

    Eg: 1 000 001,12 (one million two point twelve)

    There may also be other national formats out there.

  5. Pivot Table and Pivot Chart support in Proton Sheets

    Proton Sheets should include support for Pivot Tables and Pivot Charts to help summarise large datasets. It should be easy to modify the data source, filters, columns, rows, data points and their underlying calculations, etc. Make them as powerful as they are in Excel and easy to style or format with well designed and attractive default themes (maybe include a Proton theme as well!).

    Just like it already is in the browser.
    Sometimes backing up is not enough when there are next folders or when photos have been edited.

  8. Show thumbnails for offloaded image and video files on Windows

    Currently when files are offloaded on Windows, there's no image or video thumbnails generated, so you either need to use the web app, or need to re-download entire folders of files back to the PC just to be able to find a specific file.

    It would be much better if these worked like OneDrive and iCloud Photos where the files are stored online-only but are still able to generate local thumbnails for quick and convenient browsing.

    Ideally this should also support modern image and video formats (AVIF/AV1, HEIF/HEVC, WEBP etc) as well as just the basic JPG and PNGs as…

  9. Support for syncing multiple Proton Drive accounts on same machine

    Having multiple proton accounts, ie personal and business, currently only allows one of those accounts to sync Proton Drive to folders on a single machine. Need to have the ability for Proton Drive to handle different accounts with different syncing structure.

  10. Single click to navigate into folders in the Proton Drive web app

    Ability to navigate into Proton Drive folders in the web app using single-mouse click would be very convenient when navigating a lot of folders back and forth.

  11. Add Backup Photos solution for Graphene OS

    Add real Folder-level SAF support so that the app can be used for Photo Backup in the background. Now it has to be done fully manually.

  12. Download folders from Drive on Android

    Hi,
    I would love to be able to download a folder from Drive to my internal storage. Currently I can only download files and new to recreate the folders if needed.
    This clutters my download folder and I can't find stuff.

    Link proton mail and proton drive so that we can:
    - while writting an email, pick a file directly from proton drive to attach it in the mail or share it via a link (exactly as it work between gmail and google drive)
    - detach a file attached to a received email directly in proton drive

  15. Allow direct file sharing within windows file explorer similar to onedrive

    In file explorer it would be nice to have the ability to right click share a file and it generates a proton drive link to share. This should function similar to how it does with OneDrive

  16. Mutual proton drive

    I have a Proton Duo subscription shared with my wife, and I’d like to know if it’s possible to have a single, mutual Proton Drive that both of us can access and manage — rather than using shared folders between two separate Drives.
    In other words, can we have a truly common Drive space for both accounts within the Duo plan, where we both have equal ownership and access rights?

  17. Proton Docs Bulk Download

    There needs to be an essential feature to bulk download Proton Docs into a readable file format of your choice. Allowing the downloader to choose a default file time (Adobe, Word, etc.). For purposes of downloading multiple files at once for ease and convenience. And for purposes of being able to do a convenience manual backup to a local hard drive.

    Proton music (I know there's one other post, but I want to add other features)

    open source cloud drive based, like Spotify, file steamer

    We have files and photos section in drive app

    Why not make an song section?

    IT would take files within specified directory and put in an player UI

    Also have hand off to remote control and sync devices, save YouTube id to import, retrieve comments and create shareable playlists with other users

    Search metadata, lyrics, track local plays for year review

    Ofc, user must own the files from CDs or whatever

    I've gone trough many players…

  20. Plaintext and source files editing

    It would be great to be able view and edit plaintext or source files.

    • This one feature would allow to work with dozens of file formats in different programming/scripting languages, config files etc.
    • It would allow to create quick txt/md notes, where the full blown rich text editor is not required/desired.
    • It would allow to use Markdown note vaults, like those used by Obsidian.
    • It would allow to use tabular data in CSV format, which might cover some use cases for the (currently missing) spreadsheets feature.

    In the future, it would be also nice to have some syntax highlighting for…
