1. Share Proton Docs link for collaboration without requiring Proton account

   The new Proton Docs Feature just came out.
   I wanted to use it, but i can't share the document so, that friends can collaborate. They don't all have a proton account.
   That's why the sharing feature with the E-Mails doesn’t help a lot.
   Normally you can just create a link to each document, so that others can edit it.
   But at the moment this isn’t possible.
   It’s a quite standard feature I personally would expect from a drive with documents.

   One Option i tried is creating a sharable link in Proton Drive with a folder. In that Folder i got the Document. I can share the folder, but when my friends click on the folder link they can’t open the Document in it.

   I get this error message: "Public sharing of documents is not yet supported. Please asks the owner to directly invite you to dthe document."

   Without this feature the whole document drive thing doesn’t has a lot of use for me personally.

   Albums, photo tagging, search by location for Proton Drive Photos.

   Pretty much like Google Photos, but encrypted. Probably without the automatic classification since that would require you to see my photos :D

3. To switch from Google Photos, Proton drive is not the deal. We need Proton Photos

   There is already a request like this. But - from the answer it received by administators, I have the feeling they don't have got the point. This is what I think and what I need ;)
   Google Photos offers specific tools to manage and share photos effectivelly. Unfortunatelly Proton Drive app is not up to this task (as it is not OneDrive, for instance). This is because those apps are ment to be used as a File app, not a photo app. In order to offer a true Google Photos alternative, a proper Proton Photos app is paramount. We need Albums, we need seemless sharing, we need to be able not to see every photo there is on the drive (for instance, I don't need to see all 3000 jpgs of my old and archived website or the 1px backgrounds, or all the thnumbnails from my last game that I decided to store on the Drive). Is there any plan to introduce this?

5. Proton Drive Photo manager improvements

   Add a feature to manage in a better way our photo on mobile, like adding a search bar, the ability to create albums, or even more the option to choose if when you delete a photo from the phone to delete it also on drive

8. Manage user rights on shared files or folders

   when sharing a folder or a file, it would be great to be able to choose the other users' rights, like:
   - View only
   - Modification of the file (or add/remove files for a shared folder)
   - Resharing

9. Add a "suggest" mode to Docs

   It would be fantastic if there was an editing mode that just adds suggested edits that can then be accepted or rejected by collaborators. This makes editing much easier among groups of people.

11. Share upload folder link

    Share folders with the option to allow upload of files. This is an essencial feature to allow secure file transfer. Bonus points if notifications for uploaded files are present from day1.

    This is especially important for companies, where receiving large files is sometimes troublesome.

    Myself and my family currently use a (payed) competitor that provides this feature, and I can assure you I will not be adopting proton drive unless an equivalent feature is available.

    PS: All the said.. I'm not sure posting ideas on this platform is of any use, provided proton has not given any feedback to any of the other ideas already posted..

    I would suggest, you implement the Function to ProtonDrive with Windows Explorer or other File Explorers e.g. like DropBox, GoogleDrive or OneDrive

15. Proton Docs / collaboration suite

    (folders and docs similar to GoogleDocs)

    Proton mail needs some collaborative word processor and spreadsheet in a drive where people can securely work on it but only the person who owns the files can keep them and no one can download them or copy them.
