Notifications like Microsoft Outlook Calendar
I have been using outlook calendar for years I like the notifications in a pop up windows with a chime. I can dismiss or postpone for few hours to 2 weeks. I would like similar feature in proton calendar instead of current method. Thank you.

Need event import (.ics) on main calendar page
It's very cumbersome to have to import calendar events through the SETTINGS.
This will be essential for PROTON CALENDAR to be useful. I am very excited for CALENDAR, but it will need an efficacious event import function - thank you!

app invites (calendar)
i'd like to be able to accept calendar invites and send them out to attendees through the app, not just the desktop version. clunky having to do it through the desktop only

Different time inputs
The input on the calendar only supports the 00:00 format. I'd be nice if the system would recognise the most common used formats and change these into the 00:00.
Examples of most common used formats (incl typo's):
- 1045
- 10.45
- 10,45
- 10;45
- 1045 AM
- 1045 PM
- 945
- 945 (Three digit times with leading 0)
- 9.45 (and the other seperators stated above with/without leading 0)2 votes -
Event entry: Better date format parsing
Problem: When entering events, navigating the date picker calendar isn't very quick.
Suggested solution: 1) Date text automatically selects (in addition to date picker popping up), so it's easy to start typing date in text format. 2) Typing date format should parse more date formats than "Mmm DD, YYYY" (e.g., "Mmm DD YYYY", "DD Mmm YY", "YYYY-MM-DD", "YY-MM-DD")

Higher granularity in the desktop weekly calendar
Allow for smaller divisions of each hour. Back-to-back events are squeezed into two columns just because they end and start in the same 30-minute period.
This makes the calendar messy and hard to read, but also means (f.ex.) a meeting that starts each day at 0915 and ends at 0930 looks the same as a meeting that ends at 0945. You cannot tell them apart without clicking on it first.

stop having a default notification on every single event created
I would prefer not to have an active notification on every single event that I create.

Turn of automatic event notification setting
I want to stop Calendar adding a notification for every event I create. It seems to think I want to be notified of everything a day before.
Maybe you can already do it, but I think you have hidden that feature.1 vote -
Updated Custom Event Occurrences
When customizing the duration of an event -- number of days to repeat the event -- it would be great to have an interface that shows which days to repeat. For instance, if the event is only for business days, I could select M-F, omitting the weekend. Conversely, if an event is weekend only, I could check Sat & Sun.
This would be especially helpful when setting up events for my kids, since the occurrence is oftentimes sporadic.1 vote -
Better UX customization
These "small" additions would make a big difference:
- Choose font size of calendar events or zoom in/out to allow for more events shown in Month view
- Choose font color of calendar event (white or black)
- Choose custom background color
- Less laggy display toggle of calendars
- Option for checkbox to mark event as "Done"Thanks for your consideration.
- Setting to only show "All Day Events" in Month mode
- Toggle order of calendars (just as you can do with Labels)
- Keyboard shortcuts (e.g. 1, 2, 3, 4) for specific event when creating new event…2 votes -
Select Calendar when accepting an invitation in ProtonMail
When I receive an external invitation in Proton Mail, it is automatically added to Proton Calendar when I accpt it.
I'm using multiple calendars (for my different clients) and I cannot choose in which calendar it should be added. I then need to open the event in the calendar and modify it.
Is it possible to add this option when accpting an invitation ?

three week view
A three-week view for the Calendar would be so helpful. It's the most useful feature of Google Calendar, which I'm migrating away from to use Proton services.

Allow more than 10 calendars
Increase the maximum number of calendars. Currently, 10 calendars is the limit imposed upon users. Ideally this limit would be higher.
For example, I like to split my things up into about 8 calendars, and so I reached the limit when deciding to make some extras to manage my elderly family member's events.
Having them separate from my own means I can later delete the calendar without the need to go through my own "to-dos" calendar and remove them individually. It also means I can easily uncheck them from being displayed to only see events pertaining to me.
A raise…

Repeat on same day, on every first -or- last week
Simple enough - I have an event IRL which occurs only on the first Wednesday and last Wednesday, forever.
Currently I can schedule events for the first Wednesday of the month, but seemingly not the last. An update to add the last week of the month to the repeat options would be great.
Thank you.

Event Participants visible in email
In reading the documentation, it states that the participant list is protected. yet the initial calendar invite contains all the participants email addresses in the to: of the email. It seems that the invitation email is not being sent one at a time but is being sent out in bulk with all the names visible. Is this by design? Or am I missing something?

There really has to be some way to look at the month in its entirety & see @ a glace when appointments are scheduled ( just by date) maybe y
Have days w/ appointments a vastly different color from dates without an appointment. ( also different from today's date

Select multiple notification times in one go instead of creating individual notifications for each
Instead of selecting 15, 30, 60 minutes notifications for an entry one at a time if I want multiple reminders, I would rather check all the ones I want in one go.

Ability to sync Proton Calendar with desktop mail clients
Add two-way Proton Calendar sync ability with Outlook, Thunderbird, Apple Mail etc.
Is it possible to add the calendars to Proton Bridge, so we can use a desktop mail client to manage and update our calendars?
It would be great to be able to manage my Proton Calendar next to calendars from other accounts (for example my work calendar) from within the same desktop mail client.
