Make lumo fully open source
I asked the cat if it's open source. It gave all the wrong answers.
Either make Lumo fully open source very soon, or set a roadmap to achieve that and share it with everyone. Privacy is great, but Proton, without open sourcing everything you do, you are missing the point of what you represent. Do better.

UI Element & Emoji Mode Settings Toggle
Hello. This feature request is a personalization and/or customization option. I really think it’d be a neat addition. I will break it down simply to avoid wasting others time. This applies to the app, potentially the iOS 26 application, and is a simple switch in the settings.
✔️Toggle checkmark box for “enhanced emojis & UI effects.
🟰Net result is an increased frequency of emojis and UI elements such as lists, tables with headers and bold fonts, increased emojis, increased syntax boxes, increased purple boxes with abstracts — all elements and and emojis are outputted at a higher rate than without…

Allow attachment of files in project chats
Projects only reference indexed files, ad-hoc attachmemt is not possible. Here's what Lumo has to say about it:
[...] It's more like paternalism dressed up as UX design.
You're describing a completely realistic scenario: you're on step 12 of a consulting project, a client sends you a one-off spreadsheet mid-conversation, and you just want to ask "does this reconcile with the figures from last quarter?" without committing it to the permanent knowledge base. Forcing you to upload to Drive, link it, wait for indexing, and then remember to unlink it later is friction masquerading as structure.
The assumption that all…

[Calendar] Right Click to Edit
To edit a calendar event currently requires a left click on the event and a left click on the edit button. Often I just want to slightly adjust the time or change the color of an event, and doing so in the current UX is very slow (in UX terms). I wish I could right click an event to have easy access to small changes like changing an event's color or title or times in a pop-over (not the full modal).

Clicking into chat box glitch - desktop ver
Not sure if there is a bug report area, but often if i click (desktop browser version) into the chat box where it has the words "ask anything..." sometimes the cursor is at the end of that default text and you cant actually type anything. You have to click on the left most side of chat box area you type in to get the cursor to appear in order to type.
This glitch doesn't happen often. I use Brave browser if that is helpful to know.

Allow multiple folders in projects
Currently (Lumo Plus, 2026-07-29), only a single folder can be associated with a project. That makes it impossible to organize the knowledge base, e.g. into personal data, role, client, project for client, and reuse this data in other projects without duplication.

Title: "Lumo Agent Mode: Computer interaction & coding automation with accessible pricing tier
I'm requesting that Proton develops Lumo as an AI agent capable of interacting directly with my computer to automate tasks and assist with coding workflows.
What I mean by "Agent Mode":
Execute commands and scripts on my local machine
Navigate filesystems, create/edit files automatically
Debug code by identifying and fixing errors
Run terminal commands with permission confirmation
Integrate with IDEs (VS Code, JetBrains, etc.)
Handle repetitive development tasks autonomously
Why this matters: Currently, LLMs can only respond within chat interfaces. An agent-capable Lumo would enable:Real automated workflows (data processing, file organization, deployments)
Faster coding cycles with automatic debugging/refactoring

Embedded images and preview-style links in responses
It would be great if when, comparing different products, for example, Lumo could embed images and links in-line in the response rather than trying to dig through the Sources section at the very bottom of the message.
