  1. Weekly preview widget

The actual widget on Android shows the planned events one after another, as a list. It would be nice to have a better and configurable preview of the week.

The need being to have a clear view of the week with one look. Another need is to see the available slots (i.e. tuesday 10 to 12 is free) quickly, using a nice layout.

The latter can be with 7 columns, representing each day of the week. Rows would be the hours, configurable as needed (i.e from 8am to 8pm every 2 hours).

  2. Decrease sync delay

The sync of changes has a huge delay. Shared calendar can take hours, sync in mobile app can take minutes. This should be both near real time.

  3. Sort Titles for Concurrent Events (i.e., alphabetically)

I have multiple recurring events for the same time on various days.

Currently those events are sorted basically at random, which is painful to read/parse.

It should be a simple and sane matter to sort (perhaps alphabetically) event titles for the same time ?

Edit : To be clear, would like titles sorted in both web view and in (Android) app notifications.

  4. Allow not to send a mail response from a calendar ics invite

When we confirm an event invite, Proton Calendar automatically sends a mail to the event owner.
It would be great to have the option to don't send this confirmation.

  5. Smaller widget size option for mobile

Currently smallest size is 3x2 (android), but would prefer if 2x2 also was possible. The outlook widget has that size and it is usually more than enough space.

  6. I would like to have continuous syncing between my Google calendar & Protonmail Calendar

So I was able to sync my calendar one time to my Google calendar. However, changes have been made to my Google calendar (by clients, unfortunately I don't want them having access to my Protonmail calendar and I can't get rid of Google due to third party integrations). Can we have a feature to where Proton Calendar continuously syncs with my Google calendar daily/hourly instead of a one-time import and none of the changes since that one-time import now show???

  7. New Calendar Notification Type: Notify on New Event

For those of us that subscribe to 3rd party calendars where events are added regularly, would it be possible to add a push notification similar to what's already in place for minutes/hours/days before, but on event creation?

IE: A new event gets posted by the calendar's owner, and when Proton Calendar syncs up and sees the new event, it pushes a notification (if configured) alerting to the addition of a new event.

  8. I responded to a calendar request, but it would be REALLY nice if I could add additional information to the entry, which at the moment, not.

I get a calendar request, and I can accept (and have it show up in my calendar). But I cannot add any additional information to it. Would be nice if I could add or modify the entry (for example, add a location if it was sent without, stuff like that).

  9. Add an integration for Amazon Echo and Google Home

It would be really useful to have an integration of Proton Calendar for our smart home. We could create and know our event with voices commands. For the security, a passeword could be asked to access to the calendar.

  10. Booking link in proton calendar

As an independent consultant who meets a lot of clients, I would like to send them a link to allow them to book a consultation with me directly from my Proton Calendar.

In case it wasn’t clear, I’m basically asking for something similar to Calendly, or to what Microsoft did in Microsoft 365 (called Microsoft Booking)

  11. UX: create an event on double tap (like iphone calendar app)

On IOS proton calendar app, we create new events by clicking + button.

It would be great to fast create event on double tap, and set the correct start date.

    Thanks

  12. Open / select the imported event

After a successful event import, it would be convenient to automatically select or open it in the calendar.

  13. App that enables viewing ics files

We can't search our calendars. Once we export to an ics file, we must expose all our data to google, microsloth or an insecure online interface in order to view/search the data.

If Proton could build an ics viewer app to be stored locally, then searching the calendar online wouldn't be such a critically important much needed feature.

  14. Receive an email summary of the day's calendared items

Google sends an email summary of your day's calendared items at 5 am or so, each day.

This is a VERY helpful feature for the google calendar and keeps me using their calendar instead of Proton's. If Proton would adopt this, I'd switch over in a second.

  15. Time Tracking functionality

Currently, I use Clockify in order to track my time in great detail. Since Clockify has integrations with Google Calendar, this causes me to use Google Calendar currently.

Given the fairly privacy-sensative way I use Clockify – tracking literally everything I do down to the bathroom break (minor things like that seriously add up and it is important to know where my time is going so I know what to make more efficient) – I think it would be useful to have a privacy-respecting time tracker alternative to Clockify/Toggl that integrates with Protonmail Calendar. That way, I would be able…

  16. Sharing & Editing Calendar

Proton Calendar - will you be adding a SHARE CALENDAR feature? Like the Apple Calendar has? Not an invite, but sharing to see another's calendar. Spouse and I own our own business and need to be able to see each other's schedule.

And since I'm mentioning Apple, how about an import from Apple Calendar feature?

I'm new - so forgive me if this is a repeat request.

    Thank you.

  17. Clickable address in the event description (mobile)

It'd be nice to be able to click the address in the event description on the mobile app.

Right now to get directions to the event you need to copy the address manually and paste it into the map.

  18. Short Edge Week Layout in Proton Calendar

Please add more views to the calendar.
I like the short edge week layout very much!
Here is an implementation of an excellent visualization:

(the fourth image is the long edge week visualization).

  19. Can Mini calendar settings be changed from "non shrink" to "shrink"

    OR
Can an option to HIDE the mini calendar be considered so as to view the Proton Calendar in full width screen? The "NEW EVENT" button could be relocated next to "PROTON APPLICATIONS".

  20. Edit shared events in Proton Mail App

I can't seem to edit events with participants in the app. It does work online, but not on my Android App. I can only delete it and then send a new event. Obviously, this would be a nice feature to have.
