Would be nice to have a "reminder" feature in addition to events
Basically "reminders" as in Google Calendar would be ideal. Main difference with Events is duration (no duration for reminder, a thin line in the calendar) and, most importantly, that reminder moves ahead in time continuously if I did not acknowledge it. By that I mean each time I open calendar I see these reminders that are not done yet. Currently I use Events also for reminders, but if I can't do the task right at the time of notification I easily forget it because I don't see it e.g. the next day.

Need expanded shared calendar permissions
Under permissions for shared calendars, it needs a few more options.
Currently when sharing with other proton users there is only:
- View only
- view and editWe need a few more options:
- View as free/busy (contents hidden, only time blocks visible)
- View all details (standard view only)
- View and Edit (able to view and edit/create/delete events)
- view, edit, and manage sharing (able to view, edit/create/delete events, and manage sharing - invite, remove, etc - of calendar)This beneficial for individuals, freelancers, businesses, families, etc.

Tabs
Currently in the Windows app if I want to switch from Mail to Calendar I have to click TWICE! It's so exhausting!!
If they opened in tabs I could switch between them with just one click, or perhaps Ctrl+Tab like in a web browser.

Remove the feature which adjusts the meeting time by the event duration
When creating a new event and changing start/end time, it automatically adjusts the former/latter when changing one of them. E.g., if I create a new event and set an end time for it, and then I adjust the start time, it automatically moves the event ending time according to the picked-up duration of the event. I end-up manually changing the times several times and it is really annoying.

Desktop calendar - add more options for time range
Current selections are Day, Week, Month, would be nice to have 7 Day and 5 Day options. Don't really need to look at a week with days that are already past.

Include contacts from used device's contacts instead of only Proton Mail's contacts and make it possible to create new contacts for events
It came to me as I created a new event in my agenda, which is Proton Calendar, and tried to add a contact to the event, I then noticed that only my Proton Mail's contacts were available, I couldn't add a contact from my smartphone's contacts nor create a new contact for the event. 😟

Hi, I would really like the ability to have a selection of icons incorporated that each email would fall under. I would use these icons to place the logo's of clients and thus it would allow me to filter by logo's. I would then like this to transition over to the calendar section so the logo would be within the calendar preview of who I am meeting with.

Calendar view starting today
The week view currently shows the whole week with all past days visible.
Looking at the calendar, the past days are mostly useless, and you have to click through to the next week to see the next one.
For planning and previewing future events, it would be good to have today's day displayed first and then the following 3/5/7 (depending on user settings).

Calendar Event ~ Set order of appearance of Events on each day
Calendar Event ~ In Preferences, Set priority order of calendars you would like at the top of each day.
It would be lovely to have my Default calendar (in my case Appointments) be the top of the list of events I have on that day. Since I may only see two events in my calendar without clicking the “2 More” it would be convenient to see the Appointments readily, especially in Month view on my laptop.
It would be a bonus to be able to set the priorty order of All of my calendars - not just the default, but…

iOS support for .ics files
Being able to add events to the calendar from other apps (e.g. proton mail) is a critical piece of functionality.
Currently most apps allow sharing an .ics file but the Proton Calendar app doesn’t seem to allow importing/adding events from them.

Creating invites in a shared calendar
I created a shared family calendar and made multiple people able to edit it. I was surprised to find when trying to invite others to an event on that calendar it explicitly warns- Creating invites in a shared calendar is not allowed. Why not?

Additional recurrence categories such as 'fifth Sunday of month'
While rare, I have found events in my life that occur on non-standard recurrences, particularly, on some dates that don't exist every single month. Recurrences such as 'fifth X of month' would still be useful, and, should simply skip months where they do not occur.

Seperate public holidays for UK, England, Wales, Scotland and Northen Ireland.
The new piblic holidays feature is great but the UK holidays list isnt that usefull to me in England as we have different public holidays than say Scotland. Keep the UK option and also add England, Scotland Wales and N Ireland.

Add attachments to events
It would be very helpful/useful/convenient if file attachments could be added to calendar events... this would minimize having to search through drive to bring up a document that is related to an event.

Change Notifications for a meetings so that I can choose 3 of them one 2 hours in advance, second 1 hours, and 3.10 as default setting as it is important to join meetings I book.
Study if SMS can be used as notification as that is immediately reach instead of email.

Web app left side bar month view: highlight dates with events
The tiny month view in the left side bar of the web app lacks the colored dots highlighting events, as seen on the similiar month view in the Android app when in split screen.

Create a way to modify a season calendar time zone
I’ve just downloaded the MLB calendar but it’s not recognising that I’m in a different time zone than when the games are on in the local time. Is there a way to create a function to select a time zone - or convert to my time zone?

Drag and drop without confirmation box
I would like the ability to drag and drop events in the calendar without having to auto confirm each time. This is how it works in google calendar and is ideal.
When timeblocking, and pushing lots of events, it gets frustrating having to confirm because i need to do this lots of times.

Remove "NHL Trade Deadline" from Canadian Holiday Calendar
It's not a holiday and is irrelevant to the vast majority of Canadians, thus wasting valuable visual space in the calendar.
