Create and Manage templates of events
Could you let the possibility to create events based on templates. This could be useful for recurring events, that are not planned, but may occur really often.
This could also be useful for mass event creation when you need to place them one by one and just modify the date or a few details.

Allow for syncing Proton Calendar with Thunderbird, which is the client I use for PM emails on my iMac.
Proton calendar currently does not have support for 3rd party apps, such as Thunderbird. I use Thunderbird with all of my PM email addresses and do not want to have another app open it is convenient from my personal and freelance work emails to be all in one place.

Password protection for mobile and desktop apps
I would rather use the app on the desktop if I could secure it with a password. I use my account actively in the browser. If I lose the notebook or it is stolen, the user is secured, but not the app if this hurdle has been overcome. This means that my data would be accessible from this point on. That prevents me from using the app.

Appointment view
In addition to the 3 already-available views (month, week, day), it would be so great to be able to visualize all future and past appointments on a scroll.

Would love an event type for Tasks like Google has. This would be something that would send a reminder, but roll over day to day until marked completed.

Select multiple events for deletion
Give the ability to delete more than one event at a time.
This does overlap with the existing request Bulk editing of events to new/existing calendars, but I'm creating it as a new request as a more specific, simplified request that would be a big quality-of-use improvement from my perspective.

Option to add Task & Eisenhower Matrix for Proton Calender
Sometimes you have myriads of things to do. In such case, prioritising becomes essential. Eisenhower Matrix is one such matrix which help ppl to take action on the basis of importance and urgency of the task allotted in the hand. This will require option to logging of task like to-do list and then tag it in one of the quadrants.
Use case
For students, they have multiple assignments going on each week with deadline ranging from months and weeks or even days. Creating events in calendar is not the ideal way to solve for it as you can't see list…

Take the location from the contacts.
As is already standard in many other calendar apps, the location field should allow me to search for contact files and also generally offer a search.

Creating a new event on mobile by clicking and dragging on the calendar
Hi Proton team,
Due to the nature of mobile or tablet being touch screen, I usually find myself setting a calendar invite directly on the calendar at the time I want it using my finger to click and drag down. This would be a great feature to add.Right now it's possible to use the button to create a new event, but it always adds it to the day I'm viewing, and the time I'm creating the invite. Desktop app: Optional PIN or Password lock
Please add a setting to require a PIN or password when opening the Desktop App. This can be similar to the lock features on the Mobile App or Proton Pass.

Delete all mail older than 1 year, delete all mail older than 1 year if not starred, etc

Better month view for events
I would like the ability to see ALL my events for any given day in the MONTH view.. no, I don't care to keep clicking over to the day view.... I would like to see everything at a glance in my MONTH view without having to resize the page to an awful 50%, which is then unreadable. Thank you for your consideration. Export Color for Calendar and Events
We can now create events with their own color, and import events with a
COLOR:#...set, but exporting does not contain the calendar nor event colors.At least for events, this seems to be intentional: https://github.com/ProtonMail/WebClients/blob/2a9685b89d7127f29c53020d38e765b513772df4/packages/shared/lib/calendar/export/export.ts#L155
However, by not exporting this, it's effectively a lock-in / walled-garden -esque feature, so I cannot in good faith use it because I know that for now I would lose it if exporting for use elsewhere.
This should be enabled in at least the following places:
- export of a calendar should include calendar and event colors

Better time zone handling for flights
Trying to put flights into the calendar is quite a hassle, partially because there's no automatic adding to a calendar. If I'm going to do it manually, I'd like the takeoff and landing timezones to be separate. I'd also like to be able to say ***** it and have an absolute time so I don't have to worry about time zones. I can put in that it takes off at 8 and lands at 10 and not worry that I've crossed a time zone.

Indicator for non-visible entries in a given calendar view
When there are events that are outside the currently visible hours for example in the week-view, then they can be easily missed.
Example: I am watching my week and it shows times from 8h till 20h, but there is an event late in the evening at 23h or early in the morning at 6h, then I will miss it because it is not immediately visible in the view.Proposition: Add a small indicator (dot, arrow, whatever) when there are more tasks that are not visible in the current view. 3 Days View which is currently available on Android / iOS app should also be available on WebApp / Desktop. Currently WebApp / Desktop from my end only has 3 views: Day, Week, Month

Email notifications for Calendar on iOS
Email notifications for Calendar on iOS is a crucial feature. Please bring feature parity to the iOS calendar app, email notifications are sorely missed and the key to switching to Proton calendar from Google calendar.

Pre Set Calendar Notifications
In the Proton Calendar app, I don't like the two default notification times. I always have to change them manually. I'd prefer to set my own default notification times that automatically appear whenever I create a new event.
