  1. addevent.com support for adding Proton Calendar events.

addevent.com is a widely used way of adding events to calendars with a simple click. They support a wide range of calendars but not Proton. Their support at support@addevent.com says that they would be willing to add Proton but it is not supported on Proton's end. Please make this possible.

  2. Month View Widget - iOS

It'll be very useful, to me at least, to have a full-size, month-view widget. The only calendar app on IOS that offers this is the WidgetCal app, which I really want to migrate away from.

  3. Allow the ability to drag events into other weeks when in the week view tab.

You can't drag an event into the calendar view to a different day like you can in outlook. This prevents efficiency and quick editing.

  4. Time Blocking & Scheduling meetings

We should definitely have time blocking, as this is a big part of productivity. I still use iCal when I want to switch over to Proton Cal, but I cannot because I need to schedule a meeting that is connected to Calandly. Notion Calendar (formally Cron) has both features, which are so useful, but they only have the connection to Google, for which I made the decision to leave Google two years ago. Please go to Notion calendar and see the features they have that you guys can implement, but MAKE IT BETTER!!!!!!

  5. Support events with date in the year 2038 or later

Currently one can only create events that have a date in 2037 or earlier. I would like to be able to create events further into the future. Also, when I get a calendar invite for an event in 2038 or later (google calendar does support this), I get a message "this invitation is invalid". I would like to be able to accept the event and the event to be seen as a valid event.

  7. multiple dates

When creating an event, which may include certain days of the week, allow you to set the time(s) of each day separately so say you have something on mondays at this time and say thursdays at a different time, allow you to manage this at one go, instead of having to do mondays this time, and thursdays another time.

  8. Calendar as Default Start Location in Proton Mail Desktop App

For people who use Proton Mail Bridge and receive their emails in an alternative mail client it would be great to be able to set the start location in Proton Mail desktop app to Calendar instead of Mail.

Thus the desktop app could be used to access Proton Calendar right away without having to click the corresponding button in its menu bar after each restart.

Digital planners are all the rage these days (especially with women). Some features of planners in a secure and digital platform. Habit Tracker with integration to tasks/calendar would be primary.

  10. Calendar app: display multiple-day events as one long entry instead of small entries in each day

There is a difference in UI in the web version of calendar and in the app (iOS).

When I create an event that lasts several days, in the web I see the event as one entry spread across all days. This is comfortable for the eye and I can see the full name of the event.

But in the app the same event is shown as separate small events in each day-cell. This feels quite heavy for the eye and since you also have quite narrow spaces in the cells in general (compared to Google Cal) - the name of…

  11. Make the month/h tag a brigher color.

The display of the month as a title, should pop out so you can see the month in a seconds, eg, for default theme, APRIL should be hotpink, not white.

  12. More use of the space in the iOS calender widget

The current new iOS widget only shows events for the current day, which can lead to a lot of unused space. It would be nice to fill the space with upcoming events with the dates. Just like the Apple's own calendar widget.

  13. Multiple appointment selection & disable dimmed view of past appointments.

I use the calendar as a To-Do list as well as an appointment book. Each to-do item becomes a separate entry at a particular time. Completed items stay on the day they were done. Outstanding items get moved to the next day. So it would be nice to be able to select multiple entries at once rather than moving them individually. It would also be nice to disable the dimmed view of entries in the past.

  16. every other option

There is no way to assign an event to "every other"
For instance, I am trying to schedule an event that happens every other Tuesday.
It seems I am forced to enter it manually each month.

  17. IPAD/Tablet full screen landscape view touch screen edit capacity

There is a huge demand for family control center with multiple calendars, task lists and grocery lists. Proton Calendar should provide all three with App for tablets - full screen with touch editing and moving capacity.

  18. Label colours given to Calendar entries

It's great that I can now use different colours BUT I struggle to remember what the colours mean. So it would be great to be able change or add a label e.g. the colour 'label' from 'strawberry' to 'personal' or 'fern' to 'travel'.
Would make it easy to have an immediate overview of my appointments for the week based on the colour AND knowing what the colours stood for.
Also when I'm selecting a colour I will see what it represents rather or in addition to what colour it is.

  19. Paste and „Open with“ .ical content/files

Since all the „add to calendar“ links in ios do not work with Proton, there should be a possiblity to paste such events, share them to Proton Calendar or open .ical files that were downloaded.

At the moment I can just retype them in the Proton app.

    Or am I missing something?

  20. Share Proton calendar with Google user

In my family we use Google Calendar because we share our individual calendars between each other. What blocks me from fully migrating to Proton Calendar is that at this point in time it cannot be shared with Google Calendar and Google Calendar cannot be shared with Proton Calendar. All this must be synchronous, meaning all the event cancellations and edits must be reflected in all the views for all the family members.
