Reminder matrix
This idea is kind of already been suggested, but not quite. I have a small company and wish to use the calendar functions to help myself, new employees/subcontractors incorporate or build habbits with reminders. And I just need some added feilds to do so. For instance some clients wish billable activities to be recorded every so often by specific apps or methods. This could even be expanded for school schedules etc

Can the calendar email reminder of an event describe the actual calendar item, not just be a generic reminder. Thank you
When a calendar event issues an email reminder, the email does not descibe what the reminder is actually for, so you have to then take extra steps to open the calendar and see. If the email notification could contain the details of the calendar item itself, then the extra steps would not be required.

Improve workflow with context menu
Using Proton Calendar can be made faster and more intuitive by allowing as many basic actions as possible to be completed without context menus and confirmation prompts. See below for the full explanation.
Allow event duration to be modified by dragging event extremities.
Allow more granular control over event duration, in 15/10/5 minute increments.
Allow an option to disable confirmation prompts when making changes by dragging/extending events.
The Proton Calendar can be very slow and old-fashioned. Making changes requires opening a menu and confirming changes. Even after the context menu, saving the changes takes a few moments. This makes planning…

Sustain color-coding from imported events
Currently, when you import other events into a proton calender, the previous color-coding gets lost and replaced by the chosen proton calender color. However, it would be great if you were able to import the events as they were with they color they had, and not get "lost" in the new color.

Calender colours should be more (red-green) color blind friendly
The current colors for the different calenders are very hard to differentiate for reg-green color blind persons. It would be nice if you could also support brighter colors or the possibility to add custom colors.
I currently have the possibility between blueish colors and greenish colors that are all quite hard to differentiate.1 vote -
RSVP to event from mail/calendar mobile apps when not on the recipient list
I forward my Gmail to Proton which works fine for email but not events. Even when my contacts use my non-Gmail address on an event, on their side the client (Google?) switches the address to my Gmail information. When I open the event in Protonmail on mobile (Android), I'm unable to RSVP. When I click "Open in Proton Calendar" I get a message at the bottom of the screen in Proton Calendar saying I'm not on the invite list, and nothing show up for that day. Yet, from the Protonmail web mail client I can choose to RSVP directly from…

Make it as good or Better than Google Calendar
I’m not a massive GG fan, but the calendar operates seamlessly, and I encourage you to take their ideas and either enhance them or replicate them. The lack of a copy existing events and search hinders the Proton Calendar on iOS.

Skip weekend
Currently, when we add an event for a whole month for example, weekends are included with a solid line.
The idea is to add a button or checkbox when creating an event, so that we can check or toggle "Skip weekends" or "Exclude weekends". This way, when we see the event's colored line, the weekend will be skipped.

Read only offline calendar
I opened a separate idea compare to
Offline calendar
because I wanted to decouple being able to edit and add event from just being able to consult it in read only mode. I think the readonly is less hard to implement and could be quicker to release.
This said, consulting the calendar when we are offline is very necessary for this kind of app.10 votes -
Drag and drop without confirmation box
I would like the ability to drag and drop events in the calendar without having to auto confirm each time. This is how it works in google calendar and is ideal.
When timeblocking, and pushing lots of events, it gets frustrating having to confirm because i need to do this lots of times.

By allowing people with busy schedules to edit their calendar from their phone after they've scheduled an event.
Sometimes I forget to change the default calendar when scheduling an appointment. When I try to make changes on my phone, I get a message that says "Coming Soon." It's been coming for over a year, and I'm still waiting. My choices are to go to my email and change it that way or delete the entire entry, and re-enter it. Both are inconvenient. It would be helpful to change it right on my phone.

Disable notifications for hidden calendar
Look at "Other calendars" in the Calendar app. If I have not checked the checkbox on a "other calendar", then its events are not visible in my Calendar screen. Yet I still get notifications for the events in the hidden calendar.
I've turned off notifications for my Calendar app to avoid this problem. Using Android.

Alarm notification option for Calendar
For some calendar events, a simple phone notification is not enough because we already gets so many other less meaningful notifications on our phones. We need an actual alarm option for a notification so that we don't miss our appointments, etc. PLEASE add this. Thanks!

Customize event color names
Hello everyone,
First, I want to thank you for giving us the opportunity to vote for new features, it's especially great to see that you actually implement them.
I have a specific request: I'd like to customize the event color names so I don't have to remember which color corresponds to each category.
For instance, I currently use "Olive" for spare time or vacation events, and "Fern" for health-related events. I'd prefer to rename these colors to reflect the categories directly, rather than relying on their default names like "Fern" or "Olive."
Thank you!

Larger WeekDay Letter IDs Android
Make the Day-of-the-week letter abbreviations for the column headers slightly bigger and bolder as compared to calendar date #s.
Right now the letters SMTWTFS are a sort of a light grey & they get lost.
Maybe the number size is reduced slightly and letters increase slightly.

Events in iOS Proton Calendar app going until midnight show up as half hour event
Hi,
So I've been using the Proton suite for a few months now, but I've come into an issue. When I add any event (doesn't matter if created on desktop, web or iOS), then in my iOS Calendar app it show the event as only a half hour event, rather than the full block until midnight.
Is this something that could be fixed? I regularly work shifts until midnight and I already forgot to go to work once, because I didn't see a big block in my agenda like I'm used too. Thanks

OpenBSD support
A secure calendar should work on a secure OS without a webbrowser:
Any plans for a method to read/write the Proton Calender via cli under OpenBSD?

Indicate with a note-icon if an event has something written in notes
I sometimes forget that I wrote notes to an event. It would be nice if there would be a small note-icon or some indication that there is more information added to an event. May some text/preview could also be shown under the event title in week view.
