How can we improve our accounts settings, payments or plans?

  2. Accept PayU or Przelewy24 as a payment method

    In Poland PayU and Przelewy24 are two most common options to pay over the internet. Adding support for them would make it much easier for Poles to support Protonmail financially.

  3. Google Play in-app purchase

    I'm sure some people prefer to have a subscription under Google Play and use Google play credit as payment method. But it's not available even though Apple has it.

  6. Adding XHV (The Haven Protocol) cryptocurrency as a payment method

    The Haven Protocol is a 100% privacy-focused cryptocurrency.

    Alongside it's private native token (XHV), the Haven Protocol have created the world's first private stablecoin, xUSD.

    On 12th April, 4 more 'xAssets' will be released: xEUR, xCNY, xGOLD and xSILVER.

    Switching from XHV to any of the listed xAssets is done within the unbroken privacy of your vault (wallet) and can be transacted between one another and elsewhere.

    This will allow privacy-focused crypto users to subscribe to/renew their Protonmail subscriptions in a variety of 100% private currencies.

  7. Crypto payment method besides Bitcoin

    Bitcoin and ethereum have way too high of transaction fees for them to be a good method of payment. I ask that you accept a crypto currency that has cheaper transaction fees. My bitcoin transaction fee costed me ~$14. Litecoin, Monero, Binance Smart chain. Anything with reasonable transaction fees please.

  8. Better payment methods

    Please introduce some fast currency like e.g. Dash (works even with 0 confirmations thanks to InstandSend feature) for payments.
    Litecoin would be also OK.
    So it means that cryptocurrency, which is destinated to be a currency, not tokens for other purposes.

    Lightning network is a great solution, too!

    Please add pay with crypto like usdt because many people in iran cant pay with bank account,before that accept my apologies because my english not good enough ,i hope that u get my idea 🙏🏿🙏🏿

  10. Make information to payment to bank account public via homepage

    faciliate payment to your bank account. I would like to use a Swiss "Einzahlungschein" (ESR, postal payment slip) to pay for services or make donations. Wikipedia does this.

  12. payment options are limited, need to add INR for payments as well

    i was looking for a more secured email , and i found the proton email is the best in the biz. But when i was trying to pay for the service, it is only offering me to pay in USD, i live in India , and i dont have access to USD payments . Please try adding other modes of payment for indian users.

  13. Please add UPI payment option for india

    Iam from india. My two debit card was not supported for payment so i could not continue my basic membership. UPI payment option is simple and everyone in india uses it. So adding UPI will be very helpfull.

  14. Anonymous payment with (3rd party) gift cards (Walmart, Target, etc.)

    Several VPN services with a footprint in North America offer a "payment with 3rd party gift cards" option.

    I.e., the future customer goes into a local BestBuy/Walmart/Target/etc store, anonymously buys a $100 BestBuy/Walmart/Target/etc gift card with cash, and then enters the gift card code online to pay for anonymous VPN service.

    Pros:
    + Truly anonymous, no trace left behind
    + Arguably more convenient and faster than mailing cash
    + Probably more anonymous than payment with cryptocurrencies.

    Cons:
    + Processing fees? I'm not sure what they are, but privacy-conscious people would be willing to pay a certain premium

  15. Payments/banking

    Will soon need a more secure online payments system than PayPal. Seeing as they are very close to the US security state. Not to mention banking. Any thoughts on solving these things are appreciated.

  17. Allow prepayment for an interval starting immediately after the current billing cycle-end

    Currently a new payment discards the already paid remaining portion of the current billing cycle, and starts a new billing cycle.
    It is true that a small compensation for the unused portion of the paid interval is provided, with the name "Proration".
    This might be OK if somebody wants to switch billing plans immediately, but does not seem right if the intention is to continue with the same type of billing plan, or if somebody prefers to use the current plant until the end of the billing cycle. After all, it is already paid.

  18. If you block to access to email account due to un-payment, how I can communicate with you by email about it?

    Regarding unpaid status using by automatic visa payment, there are several reasons to be occur. If you sent some remind the user for payment reminder would be generous. I was so surprised that you block my email account totally due to un-payment be happened.
    I will consider to be non-payment user or change to another account if this "sudden shout down measure" you take to the paid user.

  19. Payment customization

    Add the option of payment for used service. For example: I would like an account with 1 user, 2 GB of storage, 1 address and 0 custom domains .... I believe this would make it easier for many people who use protonmail daily.

  20. Payment with Cryptocurrencies

    It is currently possible to pay with Bitcoin. Many people do not want to trade with bitcoin due to its devastating environmental impact and bad privacy. Why go through the hassle of implementing other currencies when, after all, you are interested in fiat. There are many awesome services available that help to solve this issue. UTRUST, is one of them. https://utrust.com/.
    You implement their API. We can send you whatever cryptocurrency UTRUST supports (more than Bitcoin...) and you get the money.

    Proton: No hassle with implementing and managing many payment options
