Remove the .ch domain
All accounts ProtonMail bring by default the domain .ch and .com
We don't all live in Switzerland
So we don't want to have there the domain .ch

It is an excellent idea
I'm also looking at how to remove the alias .ch
I just want to .com
It should be able to remove the .ch
And the user removes Choose whether or not

This is NOT a good idea idea. .COM is US-based. Please implement vote down in this forum.

THIS IS NOT A GOOD IDEA - if you want to use .com than use .com! why remove the .ch for those who really care about security?

.ch what makes all this credible and sells the service. If you want .com than there is gmail or riseup etc (powered by NSA)

Hello, I actually like having this option. Don't choose .ch then.

To the OP, you don't have to live in Switzerland to use the .ch domain. I dislike this request by the reasons already exposed by many.

@Shreyas Purohit: Thank you, that was the message I was referring to (but I had lost the URL). Indeed I never use the .com address, as Protonmail itself never does.
The argument which the people at Protonmail themselves have for using .ch and not .com probably also holds good for other national domains.
@JohnnyB: You have a point. :-)

Please keep the .ch domain. There are people in Switzerland who appreciate to have a Swiss domain.

If the scenario mentioned above in link does happen, you will need the .ch domain. -
