How can we improve our accounts settings, payments or plans?

    Hi everyone! I would like to suggest having a payment option for Decred, (one of the most legitimate cryptocurrencies in my opinion). I believe this reddit post makes the case for Decred better than I can:

  2. Change Payment Name of Protonmail

    To add privacy change the payment / paid to / name to something other than ProtonMail, something that seems un-related to Email or VPN services ect.

  4. prepayment of accounts

    Folks...a couple of things wrt renewal payments
    (1) I wanted to prepay for my account and you don't seem to have that as an option.
    (2) I also wanted to change my method of payment to BTC...that also does not appear as an option.

  5. Easy access to Proton and VPN

    I know you guys work out the figures but as a stand alone punter it would be beneficial to me to pay a £5 per month fee for both my email and a VPN. When you start asking for lump sums this will put peopler off. I'm also confused as to just how safe Protonmail is and who could possibly access my account. Chris

  6. No 1-Click Purchase and Save My Preferred Currency

    My greatest disappointment in the past year has been payment:

    (1) No 1-click purchase, please:
    There should be a confirmation button to make payment, instead of a 1-click purchase button that doesn't warn me that it's a 1-click purchase button.

    (2) Set default payment currency:
    I prefer to pay in USD, but when I extended my subscription during this last Black Friday, the payment menu just automatically changed to EUR. My Settings page was definitely NOT set to EUR, and without my realization, the subscription was charged in EUR (which was way more expensive than CHF and USD) and, because…

    Yo! So.. The most of Mobile Phone users are Android Users, right? Also Protonmail does require Google Play to run, right? So why shouldn't we pay our bills ( Plans, extra features like storage etc.. ) with the integrated Google Play Payments? It is fast,easy,advanced and secure. If you wanna Pay with PayPal because you don't have a credit card? No Problem! Pay with Bank or Paypal Funds.   8. Pro version should have 5 emails + 5 users

    I have been a protonmail for less than a week and I love it! So much so that I upgraded to pro so that I can give my wife an email account where we can communicate and share private info.

    To my surprise, the 5 emails in pro are only that, 5 emails. I cannot manage or assign additional users the emails that I have created.

    This was very frustrating to me because if I want to create users I have to upgrade to visionary, which I will not do for a family of 2.

  9. Top up account balance

    The ability to "top up" one's account balance by adding funds in advance. This prevents any delays in payment preventing any lapses in service. An example that uses this feature is Name Cheap.

  10. I have one (1) improvement request: To allow GMAIL to process payments. Monthly cash via Google Pay is an easy payment feature.

    Allow Google Pay to pay for the account upgrade.

    Sent with ProtonMail Secure Email discount for paying users:

    It would be great if paying users of protonmail would get a reward when they leave the signature "Sent with ProtonMail Secure Email" turned on, which is advertising the protonmail brand, for example by giving those paying protonmail-users some extra free storage space 1GB? or a bit more? That's up to the team and how much you guys think you could give users.

  12. A new plan and different service.

    Hi,

    It's been told very hundred times but a plan between Free and Paid allowing one account to be used with own domain for a more affordable price. And second feature I'd ask would be Swiss hosted (aka government doesn't ask handing over of data too easy) hardened classic email service because not every account in a website needs utmost privacy since communicates with regular emails mostly. (for example a customer service email). And using IMAP and SMTP would be plus for these accounts.

    So we use multiple keys on one account. Eg. to continue using an old key from a previous email account with your new ProtonMail account.

  15. Grid password

    Grid password like the one Android lock screen uses can protect compromised users with keyloggers installed by adding an extra security layer with somewhat unusual input. To crack such password a hypothetical Chuck would need to log not only keyboard input but mouse input as well (which is possible, but such password still protects from less advanced keylogging).

  19. Allow us to change our email address

    Maybe we find a new career that we want to feature in our address, or just want to change it to something more professional(or less so). And maybe put a temporary time cap and/or a small premium fee, on that ability each time it's used, so people don't go crazy with it.

  20. Make information to payment to bank account public via homepage

    faciliate payment to your bank account. I would like to use a Swiss "Einzahlungschein" (ESR, postal payment slip) to pay for services or make donations. Wikipedia does this.
