  1. App Tracking Prevention

    DuckDuckGo has this great feature where it essentially runs a VPN but it blocks traffic from devices from being sent out. So, when a data tracking engines (e.g., Google, Adobe, Amplitude, Branch Metrics) attempt to send personal data from your device DuckDuckGo blocks it.

    If Proton incorporated the same concept into the VPN then it would be an even more effective product!

  2. all-in-one mobile app

    This seems a fairly simple ask: one single 'Proton' app (iOS or Android). This would include Mail, Contacts, Calendar, Drive etc (all except VPN which is fine to remain separate). Similar to the FastMail approach.This is the simplest, easiest, fastest, slickest way to combine all Proton apps and functionality into one single ecosystem, as per the latest blog post following the results of the user survey.   3. After disposing of an email, the subsequent adjacent email should be selected

    Currently, after archiving or trashing an email, the top, most recent email is automatically selected. However, this is disruptive to workflow. The subsequent email underneath should always be selected after the current email is disposed of in any way. This would make ProtonMail more in line with polished email interfaces like Microsoft Outlook and others.

  5. Create the ability to add an image to your account.

    It is very convenient if it will be possible to personalize the account by being able to upload an image. It can be a logo or a personal photo.

  6. Move undo trash popup

    if you click to delete items rapidly the undo trash popup covers up the trash button slowing down deletions. Move the pop up a little to the right and the problem would go away!! Thanks

  7. Proton Voice Assistant

    I believe Proton Technologies has room to get in voice assistant sector seeing how Google and Alexa are constantly listening to most private conversations in peoples homes. It would great a privacy focused product that proton fans would enjoy and attract new people to proton's services.

  9. Renewable green energy

    Are you planning on using renewable energy for your operations soon? I was looking for information about this but I couldn't find any statement from the company on this topic. I want to support a mail server that is compromised with this issue, as it should be basic nowadays.

  10. English (British/Austalian/American) as a language option

    Currently there is one 'English' as a language option, this is in reality American or American English. Some of the differences are not at al subtle. Virtually all other services have the two separated, as American is a fairly isolated language whereas English (or British English) covers the UK, Australia, New Zealand, large numbers in India and a majority in Europe (though American is also popular in Europe now).

    Proton Browser

    I would Like to see a Browser like chrome, firefox, or Brave. But without the tracking and also it being based in the same location as protonmail would mean its secure and safe to use.

    With companys like google buying up all the alternative browsers I think this a needed program/app. What good is the secure email when Chrome is snap shoting and keylogging your protonmail logins.

  14. Remove dependance on google play services

    Protonmail android app is dependent on google play services and that is obviously against privacy and security.
    Users who removed/disable google play services or used vanilla "lineageos" without gapps cannot get the mail client work properly.
    Google play services collect every possible piece of info about the user; location, body sensors, application usage, and every other possible thing. So telling the use to enable/install google services you compromise his privacy and security by 3rd party app which is clearly against the idea if Protomail.

    I hope you can correct this and have no dependence on google at all.

  16. Proton Desktop Operating System (OS)

    I know it is too much,but it would be great,to see ProtonOS, similar to tails, with implemented VPN/Proxy,Proton browser, mail, access to onion, etc. Not only for geeks, but for simple people too, like accountant, secretary, writer.. you get the idea.
    I believe it will have a great success, as already now people already dream about it.

  17. Autocrypt support

    Autocrypt is easy to setup, so people are likely to use it more than plain PGP. ProtonMail should have autocrypt configured automatically (for non-protonmail addresses) since there's nothing users can lose by using autocrypt.

    GlassWire is an excellent firewall, but way too expensive for the common user. Consider a joint venture for Protonmail/vpn customers or direclty buy the company :D
