Open source pass-cli
The pass-cli docs are on GitHub, but it would be much better if the application itself was there also.

Hide the unread count for spam
Currently, the Spam category shows a count of unread emails. This is kind of attention-grabbing when scanning the sidebar for what I should be paying attention to, so it would be nice to either not show it at all, or have an option not to show it.
The same goes for Trash emails, these things should be more “out of the way”.
This is especially annoying in the mobile app, because there is no way to hide the archive/spam/trash/all-mails like there is on web.
There are several requests and/or hacks for this on Reddit:

Transparency in Digital Services Builds Long-Term User Trust
ProtonMail has earned user trust by putting privacy and transparency first, and this approach could be extended even further through clearer explanations of how internal metrics and limits are calculated. When users manage subscriptions, storage usage, or plan upgrades, simple and transparent breakdowns help them make informed decisions without relying on guesswork.
Across the web, users are increasingly familiar with tools that clearly show how numbers are derived, similar to how platforms offering <a href="https://calcolostipendioneto.it/">simulazione busta paga mensile</a> explain structured calculations step by step. Applying the same clarity to ProtonMail’s account-related data would reinforce confidence while fully respecting privacy-first design…

Proton Sandboxie
You could run apps inside of a sandbox. Proton's zero knowledge architecture would mean that non of the info inside could be read by proton or anyone.

Access to Proton Bridge cache offline ? (with full-text caching)
Could it be possible to make Proton Bridge cache accessible offline ?
The idea behind it is to be able to have a full cache of all mails text contents (or at least for the last x months).
It would be helpful as the current alternative is to do that client-side which will store it usually unencrypted (if i'm not mistaken) whereas Proton Bridge cache is still encrypted.
The use-case would be to ensure an always up to date, always encrypted, local "backup access" to the mail box content.
... but i probably ignore some security protocol constrains :)3 votes -
Add "invite others to Proton" to the dashboard or menu
Under the user profile is 'help and feedback' but why not offer a hotlink for "send invitation for Proton service" to friends and colleagues. Of course, I will copy/paste the homepage and email to my Japanese colleagues, but having the "invite now" button might be attractive to the Proton users who want to invite others to join. For your consideration.

Proton Coding
Hello Proton, thank you very much and great respect, for all the masterpieces you create. I would very much like to have an alternative to Github at Proton where you can work cleanly, safely and privately. That would bring an absolute well-being for us IT workers. I had published a survey at the beginning of 2025 who agreed, and 922 out of 1000 real IT workers would find that absolutely great. So over 92% of IT workers would find it commendable to have a "Proton Coding" product available. Best Regards:)

Please update the Mac desktop app to allow multiple windows
I use ProtonMail's app on my Mac laptop everyday. However, I'm frustrated by the inability to see email and the calendar at the same time. I resort to logging in via a browser and accessing the calendar there instead. That's a pain, though. How about some way to look at both of these from the app at the same time?

Change "All Settings" to "All Settings / Dashboard"
Many directions say to "got to the Dashboard." However, there is no field / button to select that says "Dashboard." This can make things difficult for new users (like me).
Please change "All Settings" to "All Settings / Dashboard."

Filters and Automations improvements
I'd like to have extended functionalities for filters, relying more on automations that are triggered at regular custom timers or events, instead of only "as a new email is received".
I'd like to have these:
1) New Automation criteria:
• Emails that are older or newer than "X days/weeks/months";
• Email status as "read" or "unread";
• Email location (folder);
• Attachment size is lower or higher than X (to label them as "bulky").
• "Without answer" (to detect all emails we sent which didn't receive answers).
This would allow automations such as: if the email is older than 1…3 votes -
Moving rows/cells in Proton Docs
Currently, if I insert a table into a document in Proton Docs, I can not move the row or cells afterwards.
This seems like a missing feature or even a bug that has been overlooked the past months, because the icon to move things is there, but it doesn't do anything if clicked or dragged.

Easy to find, site-map
Dear Proton Team,
I hope this email finds you well. I'm a 63-year-old user trying to understand what's included in my current subscription plan, but I've found the account dashboard quite difficult to navigate.
After spending several minutes clicking through various links, I eventually found a "compare plans" option, but it only directed me to a list of apps at https://account.proton.me/apps.
I was particularly looking for information about the Documents feature in Proton Drive — I don't see it listed in the apps, and I'm wondering if it has been discontinued or removed from my plan. If it's not…

A privacy-first fundraiser needs a privacy-proof checkout (Proton Wallet / no KYC)
I want to support Proton via the 2025 Lifetime Fundraiser raffle, but the current “crypto” checkout can require BitPay KYC (name, address, ID). That’s fundamentally incompatible with a privacy-first fundraiser: it requires supporters to hand sensitive identity documents to a third-party processor just to buy a raffle ticket.
Please add a privacy-proof crypto checkout with a direct “Pay with Proton Wallet” option: generate a unique Bitcoin address/QR per order, confirm the on-chain payment, then issue the raffle ticket automatically.
