  1. Custom input text/password and save file (like NordPass)

    I'm coming from NordPass, and it's becoming difficult for me to leave it because it has file attachments saved as property of each password, meaning I can save some pdf or txt or img that sites usually give me as backup codes for account recovery or some file needed to recover an account.
    The other thing I'm missing is the ability to add visible or non-visible text fields to enter additional data, for example puk-pin codes for electronic signatures.

  3. Sharing, Emailing, and Corresponding Securely with Proton-Compatible 3rd Parties (A Standardized Protocol)

    As it stands, Proton accounts messaging Proton accounts is extremely secure. Using PGP keys, Proton accounts can message non-Proton accounts and still have private emails.

    Yet, Proton accounts cannot email Tuta accounts with full encryption, despite both companies supporting internal encryption.

    Proton Drive is similarly affected, with the ability to share and live-edit limited to within Proton's own ecosystem.

    To overcome these privacy barriers, Proton needs an open source protocol which other services can follow to share files and send emails with the same security afforded to internal Proton interactions.

  7. clean memory

    We all need a sofware that functionality could cleans the physical hardware memory of devices like cells, computers.

    When file, pictures,... are deleted they become non accessible anymore but they still remain present, they are not removed in the physical hardware memory. Someone with a specialized tool can still regain all that personal information.

    It would be more than appropriate to make available a tool that would 'scramble' that information in the memory chips to make it non-recoverable by anybody.

  8. Have more than 1 active subscription

    It would be nice if users could have more than one subscription, as some only want Email and VPN or Drive and Mail and so on.

    I have Proton Mail Plus and would like to have Proton Pass as well.

    But it doesn't make sense for me to have Proton Unlimited, because I'm not going to get rid of it, as I'm not interested in the many services included.

    I apologize if I didn't explain myself.

  13. Make the width of the code block in the new docs ideal for display on screens in portrait mode. ie make the width wider.

    The new docs is awesome. I would like improvement on the code block as wider for portrait screens. I started with a document of 9 FOIA requests and I chose to separate each FOIA in a code block. Unfortunately the block gets too tight on portrait displays.

  14. Accessibility options under appearance settings

    Under the accessibility section of the appearance tab in settings, we have options for font family and size, but no option for letter/word spacing. It could be really helpful to those who suffer from nystagmus/blurred vision or dyslexia to be able to increase letter/word spacing to promote legibility.

    Example:
    0.05ch letter spacing (0.15ch word spacing)
    0.08ch letter spacing (0.24ch word spacing)
    0.10ch letter spacing (0.30ch word spacing)

    Obviously they couldn't go too much higher without causing potential text-wrapping issues in the UI, but an option other than the default would be welcome.

  16. Add an "ignore" action to counter email storms

    Outlook has an excellent "Ignore" feature which deletes an email along with all subsequent replies to that email. This is very useful for dealing with reply-all email storms. It would be very nice if ProtonMail implemented this feature as well.

    We need free model AI Integration that also helps with those who are disabled, neurodivergent with pulling important dates, summaries, information, etc needed for a better streamlined experience that isn't overwhelming.

    Having an AI that will actively add appointments to the calendar of choice, full summaries of ongoing conversations threads, daily reminders/progress tracking to help with ADHD, with intuitive voice assistant tailored to the individuals needs based on the ability to train it in cutting edge neurodivergent contexts from lived experiences.

  19. Include the version number of app in mail

    Recently I got a mail about a new Proton Mail Android app. I clicked the link to the google store and could choose to either uninstall or open the app.

    If the version number was included in the mail it would mean that I could compare it with the installed version to know if I have to watch for an update or if the update already is installed.
