I have been a proton mail user for a fair time now and ask you to investigate (and then recommend) Spoutible as a social media platform.
I am a Spoutible usser as my social media platfrom.
I found Mastodon's moderation to be idiosynchratic.
Spoutible is created by a black American, Christopher Bouzy, who also invented BotSentinel (iirc).
It is a LGBTQ / Black etc friendly site which has very clearly articulated rules and is super prompt in dealing with bots.

Don't force minimize fullscreen application when update is available for Proton Mail
I was playing Sekiro and in the middle of a boss fight it force minimezed because there was an update available for Proton Mail. Like bruh...

It would be quite nice to get more features from the paid plan to the free plan, so it doesnt feel basic.

unsecured Apple environment in UK , solved
Now that the UK forced Apple to disable the end-to-end encryption of its cloud. And any user (good or bad) who its "geolocalizes" in the UK will have exposed the full content of it. It is a great time for more users to access proton privacy and security. SO... A bridge app that allows you to easily force Apple systems (phones, computers, tablets, ....) to use proton drive for their backups would be great!!!

Request for Serbian Language Support in Proton Applications
Dear Proton Team,
I would like to suggest adding Serbian language support across all Proton applications. Serbian is very similar to Croatian, which is already available, so implementing it should not require significant additional effort.
I believe there are many users from Serbia who would appreciate this addition, as it would make Proton’s services even more accessible and user-friendly for us.

Stop Doing Sales - They Diminish Your Brand Value in the Long Run
Sales (like 50% off, BOGO, etc.) give you short-term spikes in revenue, but diminish the perceived value of your brand in the long run. Stop doing it. You have a great product. Hold on to the Quality position in the market rather than losing it to go after the Bargain position.
Bundles are fine, but not sales.

Transferência de arquivos e notas seguras
Olá!
Penso que deveria haver um jeito de transferir arquivos entre dispositivos (celular, tablet e computador) , mesmo quando estamos usando VPN. Hoje, não há nada no mercado que possibilite isso. Vide o ShareIt ou o Quick Share, por exemplo. Acho estranho ter que desligar o VPN para compartilhar dados entre dispositivos.
Acredito que deveria ter uma forma de usar a impressora wireless do meu escritório, também com VPN!
Gostaria de sugerir também, um bloco de anotações tipo Notion, Evernote ou Google Keep, só que seguro.
Por fim, uma carteira digital tipo Google Pay ou Samsung Pay, mas que mantenha…

Distribute applications through package managers
I would like to keep the Proton Drive CLI and Proton Mail Linux desktop applications up-to-date and manage them using either my operating system package manager, apt, or a third-party package manager like Homebrew.
As of right now, I need to manually visit https://proton.me/download/drive/cli/index.html, click the download link for my architecture, manually validate the checksum, and then delete the existing installation and install the new version. There's a lot of friction in that upgrade process. Even if I write a script to try to automate most of it, it would be fairly brittle. Something as simple as

Cape mobile carrier
"Cape is a mobile carrier designed with privacy and security as major considerations". They "partner with proton to provide their subscribers with Proton unlimited". Do you think that in the feature Proton will also partner with them to provide Proton subscribers access to their network?

I really hate the new popup-style search bar. It moves the search bar out of my field of view and away from my mouse. MacOS computer.
Let me edit my search without having to chase it all over my screen by removing the pop-up feature.

New Inbox
Hi proton team :-)
I am using protonmail for many years now and really appreciate its functions.
The newest feature which splits the inbox into primary, social media, advertisement and newsletter is not practically.
There is no need to split the inbox and try to find mails.
Could you please rethink this feature or provide the option to keep the inbox as it was. One inbox, all mails inside (except spam). No additional click necessary.

Allow "Add anyway" for calendar invites where "my name is not in the invitees" because I used an alias
I used an email alias with a company that sent me a calendar invite. I want the invite on my calendar, but the Mail app won't let me add it saying I wasn't invited. I get it not knowing all of my aliases, but a simple "do it anyway" button would be helpful here.

Make Proton Docs an actual word processor
Im new to Proton Docs because im trying to jump ship from google docs. I am a writer and was excited to move but proton docs doesn't have a dark mode, and worst of all does not allow you to indent the first line of a paragraph, adjust line spacing, or have a page feature so i know how many pages a chapter has. It is very frustrating when you need to be able to write in the traditional sense when none of the things you need are available.

Location sharing with family
Given Life360 shares our information and no one trusts Google, it would be great to have location sharing with family and friends. It would open up Proton products to new users when we try to share with them.
