Subject prefix/suffix when forwarding Mails
When forwarding mails with Proton Mail, I'd like to prefix the "subject" field. I'd be using this to give the mails a label/tag. Optionally also a suffix, but i wouldnt really need that.

logged into the personal drive a user can make a link to a file put into a shared folder
a user that creates or changes a document in a shared-by-another-user folder should be able to create a link to that document for the purpose of pointing other users of the shared folder to that document

Grouping by subject doesn't group well for purchase notifications
Currently, the email client either groups by subjects (and maybe the headers), or no grouping at all. I need my messages threaded (grouped), but it's problematic for purchase notifications. Although they're different conversations as each purchase is independent, they get grouped together because they share the same subject in ProtonMail.
We should have a third option to thread (or group) by the email message headers: in-reply-to and references.

Domain-based exclusion for PGP message signing
Allow users to exclude specific domains or contacts from PGP signing while keeping the feature enabled globally. This is particularly relevant for business contexts where certain partners or clients use email/calendar systems that don't handle PGP-signed messages correctly (e.g. calendar invites with .ics attachments). A per-domain or per-contact toggle for "Sign external messages" would solve this.

Memoboard
On the Mail interface, on the right side, where you can click on "Contacts" or "Calendar", you could ask a "Memoboard" button, so that we can add some notes while working and use them when necessary. I'm often working with Proton open, organizing mail or events, and I'd love to be able to keep some notes within easy reach.

Allow unlimited aliases for custom domains across Proton Mail, Pass, and SimpleLogin
Proton currently limits the number of email aliases, even when users connect and manage their own domains. This restriction feels unnecessary for custom domains because the user already owns and controls the domain.
Please allow unlimited - or substantially more - aliases for custom domains connected to Proton. Ideally, aliases should not count toward the standard Proton address limit.
Custom-domain integration should also extend across Proton Mail, Proton Pass, and SimpleLogin.
Users should be able to:
Create unlimited Hide-my-email aliases using their own domain or subdomain.

„persistent labels across replies/conversations“
It would be great if labels could be made more persistent and a little more intelligent.
For example, when I assign a colored label to an email and that person replies, it would be very helpful if the reply automatically kept the same label instead of the label simply disappearing from the new message.
It would also be great if Proton Mail could remember labels associated with a particular sender or contact. If I regularly assign the same label to emails from the same person or email address, new messages from that sender could automatically receive the same label by…

More and more platforms block Proton email
Proton email is now largely useless. Every day, more and more services refuse to accept emails sent from Proton Mail TLD's. I can't even use Proton to communicate with Wisconsin municipal resources. You are not doing enough to convince anyone to stop blocking Proton.

Please add "read later" to swipe actions (delete, archive...) on the Android App.

Standard notes backup (Only if there were changes)
When your setting up your backups in standard notes it will backup regardless if you have even changed anything since the last backup. It should back up only if there are changes since the last backup.

Idrive / backblaze alternative
As a proton user I want a reliable encrypted automated cloud backup solution that offers versioning of files and folders (and possibly a complete image) of my personally device (e.g. MacBook) so that I have a reliable and secure offsite disaster recovery option and ability to restore accidentally deleted files or recover from ransomeware.
The reality for home users there are really only 3 options (none of which are any good): carbonite, Backblaze and Idrive. Proton drive is nice but it is a sync solution and not true disaster recovery solution. It also does not necessarily offer enough storage.so it…

Add custom HEX code entry and colour wheel to text formatting toolbar
Especially when to sections such as Signature creation.
The current colour selection for text, background highlighting, and hyperlinks is far too restrictive.
Please add a custom HEX input box (#FFFFFF) and a standard RGB colour wheel picker to the rich text editor. This functionality is vital for business accounts that must precisely match text and links to their established brand colour guidelines.

Show permanent timestamps (date and time received) under email headers
Please add a setting to permanently display the exact time and date an email was sent/received directly in the reading pane. Currently, users must hover or click the relative date dropdown to see the specific time. A persistent visual layout option would greatly improve daily workflow efficiency and prevent errors.

Guest mode to the Windows desktop client
The Windows app requires account login before connecting, but in heavily censored regions like mainland China, the authentication request itself is blocked by the Great Firewall — making it impossible to log in without already having a VPN. This creates a deadlock: can't connect without logging in, can't log in without a connection. The Android app solves this with its "Continue as guest" mode, which skips authentication entirely. Please bring the same guest mode to the Windows desktop client, so users in restrictive network environments can at least establish a first connection without needing to authenticate against blocked servers.

A Proton Podcast Player
There's currently no good option (particularly from a privacy perspective) for a podcast app that can use custom RSS feeds as well as podcast addict on android.
A cross-platform service that allows syncing podcast progress, can use private password protected feeds, and is privacy first would be a game changer in that space.

we are actually signed in
On my phone i open proton app and i am not signed in....
I open another proton app... i am not signed in... i open another proton app and i can actually use that to go to the previous mentioned app as i am logged in... i am using a different app to get access to the app that i am not logged in???
On destop is the same.
i open proton and i am not logged in for whatever reason, despite anything i chose i am logged in.

Privacy issues with Zendesk reports, need for improvement
Currently when using report a problem, A support ticket is created via Zendesk to my personal Proton Address.
I don't like sharing my Personal proton address with zendesk. I have been using it by giving it no one, literally no-one and utilize aliases (SL premium) on a full scale.
Give me an option to set a custom alias or generate a random one on demand as in SimpleLogin premium with which I can use to submit reports across all proton apps. This must be extended to others
To have true privacy I need to go through hoops in support page…
