Support for Emergency Alert Notification Filters & Webhook Automations in Proton Mail for Local Service Providers
Hello Proton Team,
We love using Proton's privacy-focused ecosystem, but we would love to see enhanced automated filtering rules and webhook notifications for high-priority emergency dispatch emails.
For example, on our 24/7 dispatch desk at Houston Emergency Home Services (https://houstonemergencyhomeservices.com), our field technicians receive critical customer requests for emergency plumbing bursts, sudden slab leaks, and rapid water damage restoration round the clock.
Having the ability to set:
1. Custom high-priority push triggers for specific subject keywords (e.g., "EMERGENCY", "URGENT DISPATCH").
2. Automated encrypted forwarding or webhook triggers to dispatch systems.
3. Dedicated emergency contact whitelists that bypass quiet…2 votes -
Sheets bug with font assignment
There seems to be a bug in sheets with assigning a font. My scenario:
- Everything starts on the default font. I then assign Font #2 to Row 1.
- Now I want to assign Font #2 to an entire column. I select Column A, and Font #2 is shown in the font selection box.
- I go into that font selection dropdown, and re-select Font #2.
- Nothing changes; A1 is still Font #2, while A2:A1000 are still the default font.1 vote -
Proton Docs App
Google Docs (as opposed to Word) is the only tool that I continue to use in the Google Ecosystem. I use it for school, work, etc., and I am trying to make the switch to Proton Docs. While the features are still lacking, and I assume Proton is redesigning and adding to this platform, I think it is paramount to have a Proton Docs app I can download on Mac. I love that Word has an app, and unfortunately, Proton doesn't. I hope, as they are implementing a better docs platform, that they will consider designing an app as well.…

Would it be possible to create aliases for fingerprint and facial data?
Would it be possible to create aliases for fingerprint and facial data when setting up biometrics? Biometrics are often promoted as the most secure login method, since only I possess my specific fingerprint and face. But what if my fingerprint and facial data were to be leaked? I see users claiming that biometric data is safe because it is stored on the device rather than in the cloud. I admit I’m no expert on the subject, but this is a concern for me.

Exploring Boutique Cafe Menus: Top Drink & Food Trends
Modern neighborhood cafes have completely redefined the casual dining experience. Instead of basic drip coffee and standard snacks, top boutique spots now focus on carefully curated culinary lineups—featuring ceremonial grade matcha, signature cream lattes, sourdough toasts, and gourmet breakfast sliders.
Analyzing how popular cafes balance specialty beverages with quick, high-quality food options gives great inspiration for foodies and coffee lovers alike. For a solid example of a modern, well-structured cafe lineup, you can view https://communitygoodsmenu.com/ to check out current menu trends and pricing.

Search Email with Filter Tags
Kagi has a great feature where you can apply a tag to a search query (!year would limit results to the last year). While I don't think PM needs to have all of the customization, it would be nice to quickly and easily add filters while inputting the search text.
Gmail has some of this with the colon directives but they're clunky.
Examples:
- time ranges (!month, !year, etc)
- Search only in subject (!subject)
- Search in all mail (including spam and deleted) (!all)
- Search for attachments (!file)
- Search for photos (!photo)
etc etc1 vote -
Proton Docs: A Toggle Setting for How Comments and Suggestions are Displayed (or a Return to the Old System of Displaying Comments)
Currently, comments and suggestions in a document are always displayed (with its full text content) to the right of the document. The only way to hide them is to permanently delete or resolve them. In scenarios where there are a few comments that are right next to each other (e.g. three phrases in one paragraph each with a separate comment) that all have long comments attached to it, the comments get visually stacked on top of each other, making it look like the third comment, to use the example, is no longer attached to the original paragraph it actually refers…

Update Mac OS Proton Mail app Please
Please allow paid users to have up to 2 free email accounts added to proton mail app on Mac.
It's allowed on ios app, but the macos app is useless to me without the other 2 free accounts. So I won't be using it.
Totally happy with Proton in every way except this issue. Please consider revising!!!

Please IMPLEMENT AI if possible, to help in moving messages and/or files to the corresponding folders !
Please IMPLEMENT AI if possible, to help in moving messages and/or files to the corresponding folders !
These systems can now ' suggest ' a previous folder to move messages and files into from our history and the contents of the subject lines and / or the previous file names used.
This would save a lot of very precious time and allow the users to get more use of the systems resources.

Mail Plus (Plus)
I think something is needed between Mail Plus and Unlimited. Proton offers to many features that I don't use for example while I still love the core concept.
I would love Mail Plus but need 3 custom domains. But nothing else that Unlimited offers. The constant upselling and adds brought me to Unlimited 2 years ago but i cannot excuse the price for me. I simply don't use anything else then Mail. I also think that the constant upselling really overshadows the core idea of privacy as I feel more and more pushed towards buying stuff I didn't create an…

One Main App Called 'Proton' in Which You Can Manage All Products Just Like The Webpage.
It would likely be technically and security-wise cumbersome to implement on mobile devices; however, the applications can still be installed as standalone apps (via this "hub") just don't create shortcuts for the individual applications by default; instead, create one called "Proton."
Apps are sandboxed individually at the OS level, but the hub manages discovery, download, and updates.
*One "Proton" icon opens the hub, which routes to active services
*Users can opt to create shortcuts for installed apps after download
*Show each app's permission requests before installation
*Keep per app login optional/open to separate authentication sessions per service
PS This does…

Proton Health / Proton Diet
Just an idea, but it would be amazing to see some sort of 'Proton Health' or a 'Proton Diet' app/feature.
Recently I've been looking for a half decent calorie tracker app that isn't an absurd monthly subscription as well as one that is also privacy oriented - or at least doesn't sell my data to 3rd parties to better advertise to me.
I'm sure the infrastructure for this kind of stuff would require a ton of work, but there's always room for possibilities in the future :)1 vote -

Proton Messages App
I would love to see a Proton messaging app that supports SMS, MMS, and RCS so I can get rid of Google Messages. Especially now that Samsung Messages is gone (I didn't really trust it either).
I already use signal, but TOO many people, companies, etc. do not.
