  1. Proton Drive broken

    I uploaded a small PDF to my Proton Drive account on iPhone. Several minutes have passed, and Proton Drive for macOS continues to act as if the file doesn't exist. The menulet icon shows a check mark. The dropdown menu shows "Synced 5 minutes ago". But the Proton Drive folder doesn't have an entry, even an uncached entry, in Finder.

    Went to the Proton Drive Web app. Both it and the iOS app show the PDF. But the desktop app fails to witness it.

    I tried pausing and resuming.

    I tried relaunching Proton Drive.

    I tried updating Proton Drive.

    Same…

  2. Desktop apps: Autoupdate

    Please automatically apply updates to desktop apps in the background. Like Chrome. Failing that, please automatically prompt the user to approve updates. Like Docker. Or use standard OS app store update mechanisms. Like Outlook. Don't silently fail to update, breaking file sync.

  6. make Contacts a spreadsheet view with filter and sorting for each field

    I regularly need to sort and filter my contacts down so I have a list of people to call. I currently have to export all contacts and then do it in excel. Most contact systems allow for a table view like a spreadsheet with the ability to sort or filter by name, state, GROUP (especially).

    Also, remove the restriction on the number of contacts in groups.

  7. Work a little closer with /e Foundation

    Encourage cooperation to build a new consumer mind set. I have app lounge and while we all know the android platform still has remains of google they have been shimmed hampered and sanitised. They are using Cromite Browser and I don't think I can set up Proton Pass on it. And likewise also please follow your creed and support more Linux disros OpenSuse for one the GUI that is I'm already using the Command line and network manager. Appreciate the E.U for moving forward unlike the US. Educate american consumers with effort and ethics. Data privacy is a right

  8. Proton Mail: Request option to hide unread counts

    I find notifications distracting and cherish very fine grained controls. I want an option to hide unread counts. To me the Show: Unread setting is sufficient to manage my conversations. No interest in seeing a number fluctuate beside the Inbox and other folders.

    Hello there, I would like to suggest the download of Recovery phrase or words to be Anonymous or to have a clever-hidden name, I unwillingly share my cloud with others and I cannot use that Clever feature from Proton because I've got catched already and I have to withdraw it. Thank you

    Zoom emails - I can't read the font is so small and none of the traditional methods to zoom in work and I end up copying it to a doc editor just so I can read it...Please allow emails to be zoomed...thanks

  13. Show last-used date for sessions

    In the listing of sessions (Settings -> Security and Privacy -> Session Management) it would be very useful if there was a last-used date (not just the currently available created date), such that you can determine which sessions are actively used and which ones are not.

  14. Automatic transfer: Allow filter recipient address

    Currently, Proton Mail's Automatic Transfer allow filtering emails set to transfer by Object, Sender or Attached file

    I would like to transfer only emails sent to a particular address or alias.

    Use case: I'd like to transfer all the newsletters I receive on newsletters@myprotondomain.fr to a Gmail address
    Some of them are sent directly, others via Proton or Relay alias

    I'd be able to generate automated AI summaries of my newsletters using Make or other tools that easily connect to Gmail, without sending my private emails to Google...

    Another use case would be transfering newsletters to a reader app like…

    Ein Antivirus Programm finde ich gut weil viele andere Anbieter wie NordVPN oder Surfshark haben schon einen dabei und es wäre doch gut wenn mann schon im Ökosystem von euch ist das ihr noch ein Antivirus program macht

  18. Local Storage for Proton Drive

    Instead of having only 5GB of cloud storage, Make a feature where you can use a local drive. For example, Nextcloud and 1 more service have the ability to turn a NAS or a USB in your computer into your own cloud.

  19. Adding official packages to the Arch User Repository

    The packages for majority of Proton apps within the AUR (Arch User Repository) are either out of date or do not work anymore. For example, the current version of ProtonMail is 1.71, and the latest version on the AUR is 1.61, the ProtonVPN app is completely non-functional and abandoned (I need to connect directly using NetworkManager, meaning I cannot use all of the features of ProtonVPN to their full potential), etc. As devices like the Steam Deck, which are based on Arch, are gaining popularity.   20. It's 2025 and Proton Pass still can't populate username/password fields on iPad

    Unlike iOS, Proton Pass for iPadOS fails to integrate properly with Google Chrome. On iPads, Proton Pass is never able to populate authentication forms. With the same integration setting enabled.
