1. Partner with hosting providers; Agency provisioning/reseller

   Many website hosting providers offer an add-on subscription service for email hosting from a third party like Rackspace or Google Workspace. As an agency that manage client website, the more services I can provision, manage, and resell from a centralized billing platform the better. For example, I host client sites on Cloudways. They offer an add-on for Rackspace email for $1/month. I can provision and re-bill for that service. That brings Rackspace more clients, I make a small profit, I get to offload the labor and risk of running a mail service, and it can make billing much more simple as everything can be bundled for the client. Additionally, this allow me to make configuration changes without asking a client for access to an email admin panel.

   As someone who values privacy, I would love to have the opportunity to resell Proton Mail and to upsell the Proton suite to my clients, and be able to provision Proton from an integration in my hosting admin account.

   Some services that could partner with Proton include Cloudways, Digital Ocean, Upcloud, Cloudflare, Namecheap; and admin panels like Runcloud and Ploi.

2. Android adaptive / material / themed icons

   Please make icon's theme-able. More and more 3rd party apps already support it, Proton sticks out like a sore thumb.

6. Export emails in a folder to PDF

   Right now we can only export 1 email at a time to PDF. It would be incredibly useful to be able to choose a folder and export all of the emails in that folder as PDF (individual emails as individual PDFs AND export all emails into one big PDF).

7. Family light plan with low capacity kids accounts

   • To use their phones, kids have a gmail or apple email anyways.
   • Kids are not actually using email in any relevant volume today. They only need it for a very few important things but these are privacy relevant. The included volumes in family are completely excessive for an average kid's use case.
   • Proton Family is a big chunk of money for a typical family in absolute terms.

   Suggesting a lighter family plan with 2 full accounts and 3-4 very light accounts (very limited storage, maybe not even allowing administration or settings etc - actual kids accounts) . At least until the kids are actually adults and need email much more. Proper VPN does not have to be included and drive can be excluded, teaser sized only or e.g. readonly on shared files. Pass and calendar should be included though - inter-family collaboration and calendar coordination!

   If you want a big chunk of actual kids usage workload you need a popular messenger app. Sort of like when whatsapp was 1$ a year.

8. Free vpn should offer free choice of country

   Free VPN is much less attractive . I miss the option to choose a server myself either in my home country or somewhere else. The downgrade is a terrible idea.

10. Hide Menu Bar Icons on Mac OS

    The menu bar items clutter the top and aren't really necessary, and I would prefer all of my proton apps to not be up there.

11. Graphene Apps

    It would be nice to have native versions of the apps on Graphine OS, as it's security focused too. I think the only way to install them there at the moment is in a sandboxed mode, but I haven't tried because there are a few things like password management I want to retain functionality of before I make the steps to de-google. Going through the process of flashing my phone to Graphene, only to find the Proton apps aren't able to function would stop me from going that direction for the moment.

13. Wiki with RBAC

    I'd like to see an E2EE Wiki product with full role based access controls (RBAC), ie. owner, editor, viewer, etc. and integration with Proton Drive for files. This would be invaluable to me in both personal (family) and business use cases.

    As far as I know, no one but Skiff has really tried this so it must be really really hard. But I also think it would be really really valuable.

14. Option to set a pin for the desktop app

    Please add a feature that allows auto lockout after startup / a specified number of minutes on the desktop, and requires a pin to unlock. This can be useful and convenient in situations where the application is installed on a computer in an office setting or on a terminal where the user frequently has to walk away.

    I hope you are having a blessed day. Recently ran into a conversion issue for heic. I know a lot of customers use iphone's and based on the transfer of pictures it would be amazing if you added support to preview heic within your own amazing email product. This would save a lot of time (maybe even the ability to convert to jpeg when it notices a attachment).

    I have tried the latest feature which is the sharing feature of Proton Drive.

    To share to the user's email destination, there should be a choice of which email address to use because in one proton account can have many email addresses and the email address that appears in the ownership of the folder or file share is the main email, this makes it uncomfortable.

    In my opinion, the email of the folder or file owner is quite optional, not to be displayed or can choose which email to give.

    Then also for this sharing feature, there is no option of view-only mode or non-downloadable mode. This is important to protect copyright so that it cannot be duplicated.
