A request to help with UserVoice moderation, cleaning up spam and unresolved ideas
Hello,
This is a feature request for better management of this platform for more direct feature requests. I have been a long-time user and have been actively engaged on this platform, particularly in documenting the various inconsistencies and spam that have been an issue.
I believe I have a clear understanding of the platform's shortcomings, as shown in my report, and would be willing to assist in the following ways:
- Flagging Spam and Irrelevant Content: I can help actively flag and report the off-topic and irrelevant posts that have been appearing.
- Documenting Inconsistencies: I am happy to share the document…

BULK Import Export Everything Feature Request
<< Visionary Member Here >> BULK IMPORT EXPORT FEATURE REQUEST: select a sidebar
menu item called IMPORT/EXPORT > next UI: 2 columns of checkboxes listing everything from Calendar Events to Contacts to Sieve Filters (Rules) to Folders to Labels and most importantly -- the JSON metadata files of the email messages ( I don't need the actual eml file but I need the JSON METADATA so that I can create intelligent sieves to automate all of my messages) with a simple IMPORT or EXPORT button at the bottom of the UI. THANK YOU.4 votes -
"Send email as" option (non-Proton aliases)
I have an Alumni forwarding address from the school I went to. I can use it to receive email, but replies all come from my Proton address, which has confused people receiving email from me. It also means that I cannot initiate email conversations from my forwarding address. I would like to be able to send email so that it appears to come from my forwarding address.

GPG Key Application
Create a new modern PGP Key Management Application. Windows doesn't have very good moderm options. App should be pretty standard compared to most and include right-click context menu options in Windows and/or other OS's. KGPG does this pretty well. https://apps.kde.org/kgpg/
App should integrate with Proton Contacts for central key management.3 votes -
Mail Plus Duo/Family
I want to use proton for our family of 2, but we do not need all the features of the Duo plan -- we just want Mail and Calendar. It would be great if we had sort of a "Mail Plus Duo", "Mail Plus 2-Pack", or "Proton Duo Lite" plan at 5-6$/month for two people, as opposed to 8$/month for two separate Mail Plus subscriptions. The idea can be extended for more members.
No other plan as of the time of writing fits our need at an attractive price point.
* Proton Duo is 15$/month for two people, but we…2 votes -
Dark Mail Body Background with clear fonts AND Zoom
HI,
Due to my vision I need to set all my editors to Darl Background & Clear fonts WITH Zoom. Only set as this can I read text,
This is what I can do for all desktop App, Office, Terminal and Code editor but not Proton Client for desktop,I use your web version confired as needed - the only draw back is that CONTACT Search is not as practical as on the Desktop version - which is too bright and hard to very very read for me.
please, allow some feature on the Body content such as "Display in…

Image Upload for Support Tickets (proton.me/support/contact)
Per information here: https://proton.me/support/zendesk...
My understanding is there is an explicit preference from the Proton support team to use the contact form (proton.me/support/contact) for technical issues.
However, the form does not support any file (e.g. screenshot) upload. In 90+% of cases, this seems to pretty much guarantee additional lag-time and back & forth to address any ticket.
Feature Request: support file (at least image) upload in the contact form.

Make the slider bar wider and with more contrast
The slider bar on for example the Proton Pass web app/extension is so narrow and the contrast is terrible. It's like black on almost black. I've noticed this throughout the Proton ecosystem. Seems an easy fix. Double the width and change the colors to contrasting colors. Home run with nearly zero effort. I'm aware this sounds like your grandpa complaining. Now you kids get off my lawn.

Allow Lumo to connect to other AI's
With all the AI's coming onboard adding features. Some will specialize in their area. If Lumo is able to connect and utilize those unique areas or features. Why not? allow them to connect?

Support Accrescent store
I know many people here seem to want Proton to also publish on F-Droid, but F-Droid (as was also pointed out here) has some serious problems (see https://privsec.dev/posts/android/f-droid-security-issues/).
To make both the people - like me - wanting to have access to Proton Apps not just via Play Store or GitHub happy, but also to keep high security standards, Accrescent would be an awesome solution.
It is a secure and private app store that doesn't need Google Play Services and aims to be developer-friendly.56 votes -
OAutth and other standards service, like Auth0
Proton could create a new product, standalone OAuth + other Authentication and Authorization standards, pretty much like Auth0. This will be a new revenue stream for Proton and I'd argue that a big chunk of it is already in place (or so I hope). This will enable using "Login with Proton" and provide web and app developers with a trustworthy partner to manage Accounting Authentication and Authorization for their apps.
To simplify launch of the service, first version could be for existing paying users to use.6 votes -
Proton Authenticator is open source?
I see that the Proton Authenticator apps are advertised as open source on Proton's site, but I only see the source published for the iOS, and Android apps. I do not see the source published for the Linux, Mac OS, or Windows apps on the Proton github. Please direct me to the location of the repo's if I've missed them.

[Lumo] "Get Lumo Plus" button in the toolbar should direct to page where benefits of subscription are explained
Minor suggestion regarding user experience, but:
Current implementation: "Get Lumo Plus" button takes to account management and subscription page - directly to subscription. This does not provide context or information about the benefits that the Lumo Plus subscription provides to the user. User needs to manually search for the page what the Lumo subscription will offer.
Suggested solution: Clicking the button opens a modal in the same page or a separate link to a page that provides more information about Lumo Plus' benefits.

Offer a GitHub-like product that uses Proton products like Drive and Pass for the backend.
It was just a thought that occurred to me, for I think many developers consider their codebases to be a trade secret and Proton may be the best way to keep it safe from prying eyes.

Please add organization tabs like gmail!
Hello Proton Team,
I really, really enjoy Proton, but I still miss gmail's organized tabs which conveniently kept things like routine Newsletters (Opted In Ads) and Forum Responses, etc. out of your regular mail inbox. I am so sick of the clutter, but I still want quick access to all of my new emails... Please keep in mind that this should be a very detailed filter as sometimes messages from a company are super important or self-set notifications, but sometimes they are just newsletter nonsense advertising whatever new service they are offering. I understand the the current filters may allow…
