1. More granular access controls for Family/Organization plans

   I would love to see more fine-grained access controls in the Family and Organization management dashboard.

   Right now, the admin can only enable or disable certain features for the whole group, but it would be extremely helpful to assign specific permissions or benefits to individual members. For example, instead of just restricting the entire Family/Organization account from using a certain feature, the admin could decide who has access to which subscription benefits (e.g., VPN, Drive storage, Mail features, etc.).

   This would make the Family/Organization plans much more flexible and customizable, and it would ensure that every member gets the right level of access they actually need.

3. Pass Monitor: Inconsistent UI

   Pass Monitor normally applies a green color to items which are satisfied for security checks. However, the "Excluded items" section fails to highlight in green. Even when zero items are excluded from scans.

4. Pin favourite Authenticator codes

   It’s be great if I could pin my favourite Authenticator codes to the top of the app (maybe just the icon, then I could tap to show the code). Assuming more sort options come along, having this feature would be beneficial to always have these frequent ones easily available.

7. Proton Docs - Add word and character counter

   It would be great for Proton Docs to have a world and character counter. I have to stay within certain limits for both and I'm sure many people do too.

   Please, add a counter that:
   - is persistent on screen to the side or is there just for a while (toggle, but remember toggle for the account, unlike Google Docs)
   - displays words
   - displays characters
   - displays characters without spaces
   - does 3 of the above for selected block

   Maybe some someone else has also so ideas.

8. Inactive account policy - keep account when deleting data

   Hello proton team

   I have a new suggestion regarding the inactive account policy. Instead of permanently deleting a user's account if they haven't logged in for a year, I propose an alternative approach.

   The idea is to delete their data while keeping the account itself, which would minimize costs for Proton. In the event that the user logs in again at a later time, they would login to an empty account (like if they just created it), but at least they won't lose their email address.

   A lot of users keep a protonmail account as a recovery email for other accounts.

   Proton email addresses cannot be reassigned anyway, so I believe this suggestion is good for Proton and for the users.

10. BULK Import Export Everything Feature Request

    menu item called IMPORT/EXPORT > next UI: 2 columns of checkboxes listing everything from Calendar Events to Contacts to Sieve Filters (Rules) to Folders to Labels and most importantly -- the JSON metadata files of the email messages ( I don't need the actual eml file but I need the JSON METADATA so that I can create intelligent sieves to automate all of my messages) with a simple IMPORT or EXPORT button at the bottom of the UI. 12. Desktop App themes

    It would be great to have the option for themes on the desktop app (this is available on the web version). I use the Proton theme, but the desktop app only seems to have a light mode.

    Any chance we'll get more customization on the colors?

13. Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) for Drive, Pass, and wherever applicable

    RBAC would be useful for personal accounts (i.e. families) but particularly for businesses in which role assignments are standard management and security practice. I'm not sure what the most user-friendly way is to handle the CRUDing of roles or similar operations, however, I think it should be possible to smoothly integrate this in the current experience.

15. Archival options for deceased or otherwise historically significant accounts

    There's an internet activist who's on the way to expose serious community and structural scandals in a well-known encyclopedia platform which could very well become another Epstein moment if they got their wish. In anticipation of that they said on X that they're gonna voluntarily donate their web accounts and so on for congressional investigations and subsequent archival preservation one day.

    Whether it's crazy for you is an open question but inspired by that, I want to suggest that Protonmail offers options for those who want their accounts to be archived/locked forever upon death which can either be proven by documentation from those who the deceased had delegated the power of attorney, or by automatic assumption once the user had tweak a special setting in the account dashboard on where they will be automatically assumed as deceased upon five years of account inactivity.

    In the case of that internet activist, I suggest Proton to reach them out as soon as possible so to discuss their arrangements further. Just for a perspective, they repeatedly said that in the age of deepfakes, lies are just as likely as to arise from the absence of data than the presence of it.

    Even as email messages in Protonmail accounts are unreadable because of end-to-end encryption, their titles should still be useful for archaeological researches for digital humanities far in the future because they are one of the only few that are not subject to end-to-end encryption.

    It would be great to be able to setup an auto replay per email address instead of account wide.

    Use case: autoreply only from work address when out of office but not from personal address.

18. Filter to hide Archived emails when viewing Labels

    Even tho I have archived an email, it shows up when it has a Label and I select to display all emails with that Label.
    I would love a new Filter option so I can display or hide Archived emails when viewing emails linked to a Label.
