Unhide SSN in Identities by default
I just want the ability to see the SSN in an Identity without having to unhide it. The whole point of Proton Pass is to show me the data once I've securely accessed the vault.

View with items that are not in any vault.
When a new login is created it Will appear in the "all items" view, together with the other bunch of items, even if they are already assigned to a vault.
It will be usefull if there is an equivalent to the "all items" view with just the ones not classified, or maybe a filter option in the all items view to show only items that not in any vault.3 votes -
Bottom part of left sidebar visually is too overloaded
...most features there could be just icons: pass monitor, lock, generate, sync.
"Get mobile apps" should be shown only once during the first tutorial overlay. I already have all the apps, and I find it a bit annoying that this item keeps showing up and taking up the already limited space.

Please Improve Custom Forms + Password Generation
- Create Custom Forms.
- Manage Forms (add ability to add/delete forms from the list of suggested forms)
- give me the option when creating a form to add a password section, it seams silly that I have to generate a password separately then input it into the hidden form section in whatever custom form I'm filling. There's a lot of elements of the app that don't feel integrated, like you're trying to give a fool proof experience for noobs whilst offering a more complex set of menu's/settings for more experienced users. But you need to integrate them better, it can be done…

Key Based Login System Fields
Some Systems use Key Based Logins, or Master Code Backups instead of Traditional/Conventional Username/Email, and Password Fields.
Some examples would be Nostr, Mullvad, and KycNotMe
It would be helpful to have a field that allows you to select a Key login instead of username, and password, or text.
Allow an option to replace Username / Password with Keys.
Systems like these are not to be confused with 2FA TOTP passwords.

Changes to the Unlock Options
The mobile app currently lacks the extra password unlock option, which is available on the desktop and web version. Additionally, users should have the flexibility to select multiple unlock methods.
For example, a user could primarily use Face ID while also having the option to fall back to an alternative method, like the extra password.4 votes -

Make Proton Pass recognize Password-Field on reactive web apps
At least for some password fields, proton (unlike e.g. Firefox Password Manager) does not recognize some password-fields.
For example here: https://demo.filamentphp.com/login7 votes -
Im visually impaired & use large fonts. Proton cuts off info, esp. action buttons on pw generate by not scaling pop up boxes
Please make Proton scaleable (“dynamic Type”) for users using larger system font sizes. Right now so much information when using Proton is cut off on my screen. It is particularly difficult when the action button is missing at the bottom of the screen that pops up to generate a password. I cannot indicate to the program to use a particular password generated or to save and fill automatically for new sites or when updating existing passwords. This is the most frustrating instance that makes the Proton suite I subscribed to nearly useless to me due to visual challenges. Your boxes…

Import from WinAuth for Proton Auth.
WinAuth is a good Auth app but the author stopped update it. I hope Proton Auth could import from WinAuth's backup file.

Make credit cards easier to access in the app
Currently, credit cards are simply another record within your hundreds/thousands of passwords, and to access them, you need to apply a filter.
I have come from Keeper, where payment details have a distinct section and are easily reached from desktop, Chrome, or Android apps.
Proton pass forcing you to filter for credit cards is poor UX design.

More supported web icons/ gradient background
There’s a new password manager called 2FAS and they do a really nice job at having additional icons for more sites and also having a gradient behind the icon that matches instead of doing all white

autovalidate after autofill
1Password does something that I miss a lot when autofilling login and 2FA forms: it automatically validate, saving us some more seconds. I does not looks like a lot but the fluidity of login process is really improved

Vault-Based Contextual Filtering
When I select a specific vault (e.g., "Work") from the main extension navigation, it might be more intuitive and user-friendly if both the autofill dropdown and the list of items within the extension only displayed the credentials stored in that particular vault. Credentials from other vaults (such as personal, freelance projects, etc.) could remain hidden unless I intentionally switch to another vault or choose the "All Vaults" option.
This would also help in situations like screen sharing during a meeting, where it's better not to show personal or unrelated accounts. It would be a simple but effective way to improve…

Enable vault-wide monitoring exclusion
Currently, "Exclude from monitoring" only applies to each individual item. However, doing this for each account is onerous. Please enable right clicking into an existing vault and allow users to "Exclude all items from monitoring" on a per-vault basis to simplify the process.

Change the term "Master Password" to something more open and neutral
Such as "Proton Password," "Main Password," "Primary Password," etc.
Resoning:
The term "master password" has become frowned upon in some contexts due to its historical connotations and the potential for misinterpretation:
Historical Connotations: The term "master" has origins linked to dominance, control, and even slavery in some contexts. While this isn't the intention when used in technical contexts like "master password," many organizations and individuals are choosing to avoid terms that might evoke such associations to promote inclusivity and sensitivity.
Modern Inclusivity Trends: Many industries, particularly tech, are reevaluating language that could unintentionally reinforce outdated hierarchies or exclusions. Alternatives like…
