pass-cli on macOS: Touch ID unlock instead of login keychain password prompts
On macOS, pass-cli stores its local session key ("ProtonPassCLI") in the legacy file-based login keychain. Every pass-cli call that needs the key shows two separate password dialogs ("wants to access key" and "wants to use your confidential information"), and both need the full login password.
The item's access rules are pinned to the binary's exact build hash (cdhash). The Homebrew build is ad-hoc signed, so every update changes the hash and brings both prompts back. Clicking "Always Allow" is the only way to avoid them, and it removes the per-use check completely.

Require pin or password to show stored passwords
When viewing a password in chrome extension no unlock is needed. I would like proton to ask for password or pin when anyone wants to see passwords or disable possibility to view password entirely

Prioritize login accounts
I often have multiple login credentials for a site (family, personal, work, etc). It would be really helpful to be able to search by domain/app for multiple logins and then ultimately be able to prioritize 1 as primary over the others.

Custom Alias Suffix Support (Free Tier)
Add support for a personal alias suffix tied to the username (e.g., xxxx@<user choosen word>.passmail.net), available on the free tier — similar to Addy.io's @username.anonaddy.com model. This would make aliases more recognizable without requiring a full custom domain, which could remain a paid-tier feature.

Make it possible to preview attachments to Proton Pass entries.
Make it possible to preview attachments (JPG or PDF) to Proton Pass entries. This would save time and effort by eliminating the need to download an attachment to view it. Proton Drive supports this feature for file previews.

Allow users to unsync SimpleLogin aliases from Proton Pass
Once you sync your SimpleLogin aliases with Proton Pass, there's currently no way to reverse or unsync them.
It would be great to have an option to disconnect or unsync SimpleLogin aliases from Proton Pass if previously you have sync them. Users should have full control over whether they want their aliases integrated or kept separate.
Being able to sync is useful, but there should also be an easy way to undo that decision if someone's preferences change later.

Support not only hotspot click for http, but also command line (cmd://..)
Currently we use keepass in our company to store SAP connections and logon credentials. In keepass its possible not only to store http adresses in the url field, but also command lines (cmd://).
This is essential for us to easily logon to the system.As I want to have proton rolled out company wide, this is a must have feature.

Ability to manually adjust login details
When the program does not find matching login credentials, it should allow you to select any manually and automatically add the URL to the selected entry.

Ability to edit login details while filling out
When changing login details on a website, it would be useful to be able to edit the entry selected for login.
In Bitwarden there is an option where when I click on the login or password field, the window shows proposed entries and the option to open the entire database and from there I can select the appropriate entry and edit it.

Just set up Proton Auth on my 3 systems to replace Authy. Got them syncing. I won't lose that if my protonmail goes down for some reason?
I don't fully understand this site. I've just spent the past couple of hours making sure that the combination of Proton and Nord software is fully operational on my MacBook, my iPhone, and my PC. I note that Auth is supposed to be stand-alone but requires a protonmail account for them to sync... that's absolutely fine as I've had one for years. I'm just wondering will anything catastrophic happen if I were to lose my mail account? Probably not, but it does feel a bit like putting most of my eggs in one basket. Quick query on whether you use Proton Auth for Proton Mail as well
This is just something which occurred to me last night. I'm lazily in the process of migrating all my 2FA away from Authy (primarily because it has no backup function and they've ditched the desktop app which means I'm reliant on my phone only), as Proton Auth is multi-platform and seems prety effective. show disabled alies when login via extension
In some situations, I disable aliases when I receive too much spam from them. But sometimes I have to use these aliases to log in to services, and I need to verify my identity via email. The extension doesn’t show that this alias is disabled, and I don’t understand why I’m not receiving the email.

A better link between apps in the browser extension
I wanted to open Proton Mail in my browser, and went looking for a shortcut through the Proton Pass extension. I had to make several clicks, searching every screen for a link to the other app. Eventually I found it in the triple line menu > Settings > Little 4 squares icon for Proton apps > Mail.

Extra Password to Unlock TOTP
Okay, hear me out on this one
ProtonPass supports managing passwords and then there is a field for TOTPHowever because TOTP is supposed to be as 2FA, on a separate device, right now TOTP passwords are accessed by the same Proton password as ProtonMail and ProtonPass, which really defeats the purpose of 2FA

Vault security
Why can't I set a pin on certain vaults as an extra layer of security? I keep all my financial apps in Samsung's secure folder behind a 10 digit pin. I was hoping to only have one instance of Proton Pass on the phone and keep it in the secure folder too, but it won't autofill outside the secure folder. unlock Authenticator with Physical Security Key
Currently you can unlock the Proton Authenticator app with 'biometrics' which uses your Windows Sign In security. However, you can't use the physical security key option as the way to unlock the Authenticator app.
