Unlock Windows desktop app with 2FA
There are already feature requests for a Desktop App and Biometric Sign-In.
Combining this all together, I can unlock Windows via my phone's biometrics. With that, I would have 2FA.

REQUIRE hardware key for login
I’d really like it easy to set it so that my account cannot be logged into, not one single proton app used AT ALL, unless I have authenticated THAT session with a hardware key. As Proton enters ecosystem mode, it becomes even more tempting as a target for hackers.

Browser integration at the highest level
The browser add-on should integrate seamlessly into the browser UI instead of just existing as a pop-up. A sidebar that appears at the touch of a button and displays relevant logins and notes for the current tab would be revolutionary. A function for automatically filling in CAPTCHA alternatives or quickly generating one-time identities for registrations would also make Proton Pass an indispensable tool.

NO marketing popups in the Proton Pass extension

unlock Authenticator with Physical Security Key
Currently you can unlock the Proton Authenticator app with 'biometrics' which uses your Windows Sign In security. However, you can't use the physical security key option as the way to unlock the Authenticator app.

Drag and drop/sorting fields with mouse
It would be nice to have the possibility to drag fields within an element. Right now, if I want to change the order of fields like e-mail, password or custom fields like name, text, hidden text etc., I need to delete a field and add a new one. Folders and nested subfolders
I want to be able to use folders and sub-folders. I use strongbox on iOS which is based on keepass. It allows for as many folders and sub-folders that you want. I use folders to keep my stuff organized. I don't like having all my passwords and whatever in one big long list. I also using keepass as a bookmark manager. Make Proton Authenticator for MacOS downloadable outside of the Apple App Store

Currently, Proton Authenticator on MacOS is only available via the App Store, which requires signing in using an Apple Account. This shouldn't be necessary and seems like a huge miss for a privacy-focused product. I don't sign into my Mac with my Apple Account, and I'm sure many other privacy-focused individuals do the same. This makes Proton Authenticator entirely inaccessible for such users.

Android's keyboard button feature change, pops up a pop-up window instead of open the app
On android, the button at the keyboard just opens the app, but in some cases it just takes you out of what you were doing, right? [Desktop App] Lock on system shutdown
I really find it difficult to remember to manually lock the desktop app before I shut down my computer, and I find the options given for auto-locking after a period of time to be rather annoying.
Aside from that, there are definite security implications if someone gains access to your computer after you've forgotten to lock the app before you shut down. I realise the timer based auto-lock is one solution to this. As I mentioned though, it is rather annoying having to re enter my password every 1 hour at most.

Auto-lock options for the Authenticator
It would be great to have auto-lock options for the app:
• lock after X minutes of inactivity in the app,
• lock after X minutes of system inactivity,
• and an option to lock (or not) when the OS gets locked.This would let users control whether the app should stay unlocked after the system is unlocked, or require the password again. This adds flexibility and better security.
