2. Enable Proton Pass Passwordless login with security key (PRF/WebAuthn)

   Please allow users to login into Proton Pass via passwordless login with the option of vault decryption using the WebAuthn PRF (Pseudo-Random Function) extension. Essentially, it would be amazing if full passwordless login could be achieved, similar to some of the competitors out there. This would have very obvious security benefits.

3. Allow renaming uploaded files (images/pdfs..)

   Sometimes I upload a snapshot of a document from my phone "IMG_3001.jpg". It would be nice if I could rename it later in proton pass, without having to download it, rename it, then upload it again.

4. In Proton Pass add "add section" for all types of entries (not just identities).

   Being able to add sections allow to store e.g. a second password, several serial numbers, several IBAN number etc. that belongs to an entry. This can be relevant for a login where a second password. is necessary. or a login associated to a bank account and a mobile account, where I don't have a separate entry but I want to keep things together.

   Organizing the information in sections makes this really easy to grasp (UX, overview) and also possible to collect different types of information about one thing (multi-usefulness).

   Interestingly enough 'add section' already exists with the "Identity" type of entry, but not for other entries. Quite odd, but that means it would be really easy to add for the Proton Developpers. The functionality exists, it just needs to be expanded to other entries.

   In 1Password all types of entries are able to add sections. When bringing them over into Proton Pass, some sections disappear (which is really annoying because sometimes the section title is relevant for the text or hidden entry that follows). So this is another useful use case for sections: happy migration.

   Can we please get @protonmail.com aliases ? Apple does it with @icloud.com… so surely you can too

   It would be much better than @passfwd.com or @passinbox.com that look suspicious af, and get blocked by many web service providers.

6. Easier way to report autofill issues directly from the browser

   It would be very useful to have a quicker way to report websites where autofill is not working properly.

   For example, adding a contextual menu entry such as:

   Right click on page → Proton Pass → “Report autofill not working”

   This would make it much easier for users to report unsupported or broken autofill cases directly from the affected page, without needing to manually report the issue through the extension settings page or create a post on Reddit

7. Prioritize records of same type

   How many google -acccounts do we each have? But still we only use 1...
   Super simple prio-field in records. Like #1 - #10 and then sort the list of suggestions in this prio order.
   For instance: I have 6 google -accounts in my vault (my own, company, children etc.).
   I go to google.com and I got all of these six as suggestions based on the url. The one with Prio #1 should be at the top and maybe the selected one in the popup in the actual textfield.

8. Proton Pass View Item History naming

   proton pass premium users can see the previously modified history of passwords but I want that I can change name of specific previous version history to a specific name so that I can understand in that time my password was this , sometimes we need to know the previous Password but as of lof modifications of passwords finding a partical previous version is very very hard so please add this feature to rename previous modified history of passwords

10. Unlock Proton Pass with Yubikey (or other U2F or FIDO2 standards)

    It seems like Yubikey or ohter 2FA key (standard U2F or FIDO2) are available for Proton Mail, Drive and Calendar.

    But please, implement it for Proton Pass.
    Password only for Windows app is not confortable and PIN is not enough secured.

11. Two factor authenticator system

    I want to give you a very important friendly compliment about two-step authentication. When I select the Yubikey physical security keys, the system throws a backup codes window. However, the level of security between the physical security key and backup codes is not acceptable, because we cannot compare Yubikey's physical security keys with backup codes that can be stolen by advanced hackers and spyware on a virus-infected device. Therefore, what the system does wrong is that it throws up a window of backup codes that can be copied by hackers. Of course, I can use all the backup codes, but having to log in 16 times, all those codes would be used up and worthless. However, this is a long process as you need to log in 16 times and use all backup codes 16 times. Sorry, maybe you changed the system? What I mean is that maybe now the system doesn't dump the backup codes box when I turn on and activate 2-step verification?

    If I add and enable code generation from an authenticator app now, will the system display backup codes?

    Note: Currently, I am only using two Yubikey physical security keys for two-factor authentication. These keys were added a long time ago, so I am not familiar with your current system. When I originally added the physical keys, a window with backup codes appeared. However, I intentionally used up all the displayed codes to prevent spies or hackers from using them if they were stolen. All backup codes were deliberately exhausted to prevent hacking, as hackers and spyware can copy such codes. Therefore, the security level of a Yubikey should not be associated with backup codes.

    My question is: Does your current system still generate backup codes when I enable and activate two-factor authentication?

13. Proton Pass iOS App: Default to newly entered login page after creation

    When creating a new login in the Pass iOS app, the app returns to the master login list at the beginning of the alphabet upon completion/creation of a new login.

    Typical user behavior is to create a new login, generate a password, and then use said login and password on a website or other app.

    Current app behavior creates extra clicks/actions for users as users have to scroll back to their new login (or select the alphabet shortcuts on the right side) and then reopen their newly created login page in order to get back to their login and password.

    I've looked but I haven't seen this. I have a couple of desktop applications that require a password. This works very well with Roboform but I don't think Proton Pass can do it. It is the only reason I still use Roboform. Is it possible to add this capability to Proton Pass?

15. Disable autosave on Android

    With the the Proton Pass Android app installed and the autofill option enabled, I keep getting many annoying requests asking me to save entries. This function is called autosave on Android and seems to automatically come once you enable Proton Pass for the system wide autofill.

    For example I use Microsoft Authenticator for enterprise login and I need to enter generated two-digits codes in the MS Authenticator app each time I do a login in my web browser. Pass asks me each time if I want to save these two-digit codes, which wouldn't however make any sense at all since they are random codes generated new for each login process. And there are many other cases where I just don't want to save the code I just entered as a login in Proton Pass. So I would like to have a feature to disable the autosave request and not have the annoying requests anymore

    In general even a binary on/off toggle for autosave would be way better than the current situation. In this case I would just disable the feature, since I don't need it. To make this even more fine-granular, you could provide a blacklist like Bitwarden does, so autosave can be disabled for domains or for apps. In that case it would be important that it's possible to exclude apps like MS Authenticator and not only web URLs.

    Hi Proton team,

    I am currently testing Proton Pass as a potential replacement for 1Password, but I noticed a missing feature that is crucial for my daily workflow: the ability to automatically detect, save, and prompt third-party SSO logins (like "Sign in with Google" or "Sign in with Apple").

    Currently, if I click "Sign in with Google" on a website, Proton Pass ignores the action and doesn't prompt to save it. 1Password handles this perfectly by remembering the exact SSO method used and offering it as a 1-click login the next time I visit the site.

    Having to manually create an empty login item with a "Sign in with Google" note is quite frustrating. Implementing this feature would make the transition from 1Password much smoother and greatly improve the user experience.

20. Retrieve SMS Codes automatically

    When logging into an account that uses SMS-based 2FA, Proton Pass should automatically detect the incoming OTP and offer to autofill it with a single tap — just like it already does for TOTP codes.

    This could be done using Android's SMS Retriever API, similar to what was implemented by Dahslane and other password managers.
