TOTP View in Proton Pass
Currently, Proton Pass does not have a special view for time-based one-time passwords (TOTPs), a function that exists in Proton Authenticator. In my opinion, a similar TOTP view in Proton Pass would be desirable to get the 2FA codes quickly and easily.

Ability to choose vault when creating a new item
When creating a new login entry in Proton Pass, there is currently no option to directly select the target vault. The entry is always created in the active/default vault, and if it belongs elsewhere, I need to move it manually afterward.
It would be much more convenient and efficient if Proton Pass allowed choosing the vault at the moment of creating a new login entry. This reduces mistakes and saves time, especially for users who work with multiple vaults.

Only unlock one or more vaults in browser extension
Proton Pass isn't just a password manager. it should not retrieve and decrypt every vault/item with a single PIN Code especially in browser. I do not think my ssh keys or medical records vault will be helpful in browser extension.
Possible Solutions:
- Add the option to lock each vault with a second password (should be synced across clients)
- On login select which vaults to be available in this client. can't be changed without re-auth.
with one of these implemented I could for example have a vault for my shopping and only unlock it on my shopping browser/device for added privacy/security.

2FA Recovery Code Slots for Pass
Here's how I envision this:
When a user is prompted to enter a recovery code, Proton Pass could autofill a random code saved in the slots—or when a user is in need of a recovery code, they could manually generate a random recovery code from any available slot and copy their code to their clipboard.
Users must manually enter their recovery codes in Proton Pass. An option to automatically remove a recovery code when used can be toggled, and will be enabled by default.

Notes Feature or Additional Fields in Proton Authenticator
Hi, I would love to see a notes feature or additional fields feature with Proton Authenticator, this way both the recovery codes and 2FA codes are in the same location. Correct me if I am wrong but this is still enforcing 2FA as Proton Authenticator will act as the second factor with either the 2FA code or recovery code. As at the moment I hear a lot of people have 2FA setup on a different app while they have their recovery codes linked to their password manager which means if the password manager is compromised there is no 2FA to…

Sync aliases with SimpleLogin to different vaults
SimpleLogin supports directories and regex. I want to sync for every directory/regex to a different vault in Proton Pass to keep it structured and have clear responsibility borders..
Currently, I can only specify one vault where all SimpleLogin aliases will be imported into, and then I need to manually clean up.5 votes -

lock on with Touch ID option .
please add option to choose Touch ID lock for pass in browser extension with the existing PIN code and password once which take longer access and annoying but leaving it unprotected for a min with all my password makes me nervous every time .

Es wäre von Vorteil, wenn man die Einträge alphabetisch ordnen könnte, und notwendig, um Einträge schnell zu finden. Die Suche ist nervig. Google PM ist zumindest in dieser Hinsicht benutzerfreundlicher. Ich habe ein Proton-Abo für ein Jahr abgeschlossen, bekomme aber überhaupt nicht das, was ich mir vorgestellt habe. ProtonPass ist nicht benutzerfreundlich (s.o.). Den Proton-Authenticator kann ich nicht nutzen, weil Google keinen Export seiner Einträge zulässt. Create and manage aliases for another account
Me and my wife have a Proton Duo subscription. My wife have shared her's vault to me and I am admin on that vault. I want to have the possibility to create an alias in my wife's vault for hers account. That possibility are not in place today. Please make that possible.

View with items that are not in any vault.
When a new login is created it Will appear in the "all items" view, together with the other bunch of items, even if they are already assigned to a vault.
It will be usefull if there is an equivalent to the "all items" view with just the ones not classified, or maybe a filter option in the all items view to show only items that not in any vault.5 votes -

Key Based Login System Fields
Some Systems use Key Based Logins, or Master Code Backups instead of Traditional/Conventional Username/Email, and Password Fields.
Some examples would be Nostr, Mullvad, and KycNotMe
It would be helpful to have a field that allows you to select a Key login instead of username, and password, or text.
Allow an option to replace Username / Password with Keys.
Systems like these are not to be confused with 2FA TOTP passwords.

Proton Pass On Top
Currently when a login box appears, Proton Pass pop-up provdes a selector box for confirmation, but so does Google's Password Manage (GPM) box, and it's over the top of Proton Pass. In many cases, since I've stopped using GPM, the passwords have been updated in Proton Pass but not in GPM. But with the GPM, as it covers Proton Pass box, it makes it nearly impossible to select the correct credential/password, making it necessary to keep updating, (and using) GPM. Can you make it so that Proton Pass is always on top?

Allow applying multiple filters
When filtering vault items, currently we can only select All or one specific filter (e.g., logins, aliases, etc), however, for some use-cases, it would be good to have the flexibility to select more than one filter to improve the search feature. This would add some extra quality of life to the app. Thanks.

customize the color of credit cards
One nice feature in Dashlane is that you can easily distinguish between credit cards by having customized colors for each card. I find this a time saver and it makes it easier to select the correct card for a purchase.
