  1. Keychain with Yubikey

Would like to store private or public keys for use in other applications similar to how OpenKeychain: Easy PGP works but with S/MIME certificate and key support. Would like to store S/MIME and GPG private keys on Yubikey, have public key stored in a Proton Pass keychain and then be able to send secure emails either with Proton Mail or 3rd party apps such as Thunderbird for Android without storing private keys on device.

  2. [Android] Autofill randomly generated password when changing passwords

From my limited experience, having just picked up Proton Pass, the PC version (chrome addon in this instance) has the option to autofill generated passwords when you're changing your existing passwords (or creating accounts).

When this is attempted on android, it seems you have to open the app and manually generate a password, which is time consuming and inconvenient.

This might just be me being new, and not being able to dig up info regarding this, but it seems to not exist / not work currently. I would love to use Proton Pass for everything, but this is a huge…

Instead of only Viewer, Editor or Administrator we need to have the possibility to create New roles with specific permission like export permission, view password permission, creation, edit, invite, configuration, default account configuration etc..

  5. Improve consistency and clarity of Pass own Import-Export terminology and extensions.

    Hi

Improve consistency of Proton Pass Own Import and Export Terminology:

    Proton Pass: Pass Export Options:
    PGP-Encrypted JSON
    JSON
    CSV

    Proton Pass: Pass Import Options:
    ZIP
    PGP
    CSV

JSON option is a ZIP with a JSON
Encrypted JSON is an encrypted ZIP which again contains JSON data format.

There could be a note or a comment when importing where ZIP is mentioned, that it is about JSON.

The export is describity data formats, while import is describing extensions of generated files, perhaps this makes sense in a way, tho ...

Usecase: opening these files up, manipulation for manual editing (advanced…

  7. Support FIDO Alliance Passkey Import/Export Standard (iOS/macOS 26+)

Proton Pass is currently one of the only major password managers that does not support Apple's FIDO Alliance-based passkey import/export standard introduced in iOS/macOS 26.
Bitwarden, 1Password, and Dashlane all support it. This means users cannot export their passkeys from those apps into Proton Pass on iOS or macOS. It's a hard blocker for anyone trying to migrate to Proton Pass.
    What needs to happen:
Apple published two APIs for this specifically for third-party credential managers:

ASCredentialExportManager — to export passkeys from Proton Pass
ASCredentialProviderViewController — to import passkeys from other managers

Both need to be implemented. The underlying format…

  8. Ability to Limit Access to Specific Vaults for Emergency Contacts

I'm so happy that Proton introduced the Emergency Access feature!

Instead of allowing an emergency contact complete access to the entire account, I'd like to limit the emergency contact's access to perhaps specific vaults within Proton Pass. This way, my entire email history, etc. will still be protected, but if I wish to share that information, the credentials will be stored in the Vault that will be shared with the emergency contact if deemed necessary by me, the end user.

Allowing emergency contacts access to just what would be needed in an emergency situation, instead of everything by default, would…

  11. "basic auth autofill"

The feature "Basic Auth autofillAutofill HTTP basic auth dialogs with saved credentials." is a bit too extreme. It really tries to already log in. That goes too far. If I have multiple logins per URL, this feature will try many times the wrong password and ban my IP.
It should just work like on Chrome, where the fields of basic auth are prefilled and i can still check what it did and then press enter.
It is also spooky to never really know if a site had the basic auth popup or not, as it is automatic. I don't like…

  12. Handle wildcard in url mapping

Could it be possible in the future to handle wildcard in url mapping ?

As a web developer, i'm using dev environments, so urls are something like https://mywebsite-pr-*.fr/. Currently, it doesn't recognize url and doesn't propose me to autofill password.

Manually search then copy the credentials is kind of cumbersome. Thanks for your time reading !

  13. Pass: Folders / expandable groups for organizing credentials and card data

Add a way to group saved entries into “folders” (expandable sections) so users can organize sensitive data more clearly.

Example: a user stores multiple bank cards. Instead of separate flat rows, they want a parent group like “Bank of America” (collapsed by default). When expanded, it shows nested items such as:

    • Online banking login/password
    • Linked cards (each card as a sub-item)
    • Notes or additional related entries

This would make the list easier to work and reduce clutter while keeping related credentials together.

  14. In Password use different colors for special characters, numbers, alphabetic characters.

Bitwarden has a very nice feature that shows special characters, numbers, and alphanumeric characters with different colours. This is great since allow the user to spot the correct characters quite easily.

    Bitwarden uses the following convention:
    * Alphabetic characters = white
    * Numbers = magenta
    * Special Characters = Red

  16. Search by relevance

When I search, I typically am not looking for an entry I used recently.

For example, I periodically need to look up the VIN for my car, which I have in a note titled "Car" along with some other registration info. When I search for "car", I get a list of numerous entries that have that combination of characters in any field.

A solution to this would be to search by relevance, like most search functions in other apps/programs. Show the best match with a priority for the title so that the "Car" note shows up before a random entry…

  17. list double entries

Especially when having imported secrets from other passwords managers, it would be very helpful if a function/ view would exist showing double entries and providing them to be merged into one item entry.

  18. Hinder alias detection on custom domains

Services are slowly cracking down on aliased emails, some already rejecting @passmail.net. A good alternative is having a custom domain, however a quick chech to the MX record will give away that it uses "alias.proton" and can potentially lead to new blocks.

Having the alias server be either merged to the regular proton traffic would be a nuisance for servers to distinguish aliased from actual emails, removing this single check: "if MX contains alias.proton, reject domain"

  19. Credit Card/Payment Card Network

Please add an option to the "Cards" object that allows you to select the payment network of a given card (Visa, Mastercard, etc). I've seen another request to make the icons of each card match these networks which is also a great idea. Fine if this is optional for other cards that don't have payment networks (library card, loyalty card, etc) but it should absolutely be an option. Thanks!

  20. Hide "get mobile apps" & "advanced" [on MacOS/Desktop]

"Get Mobile apps" & "Advanced" are currently prominently displayed in the side menu of the MacOS/Desktop app. Even when I have already installed the mobile apps... it's a bit redundant and just adds unnecessary clutter to the UI. I would love for these to be able to be hidden.
