Please make it possible for proton pass NOT to ask again about saving password
When proton pass asks to save a password, it should have the function to not save and don't ask again. Otherwise it asks every time do you want to save password.

I've been using Proton Pass on my Android 14 Galaxy S24 for almost 5 months now, and I'm getting really annoyed by the pop-ups. Whenever I'm trying to enter an OTP in an app, it keeps showing me a pop-up to update my password. And when I'm entering my PIN to log in to my financial app, it pops up asking me to save the password. It would be so much better if Proton Pass had a feature that remembered my preferences and didn't keep prompting me to update my password or save passwords for specific apps.

Proton pass does not work well with applications like Microsoft Authenticator. It keeps asking to update my MS account password everytime I use the authenticator app for 2FA. Ideally I should be able to opt out applications from proton pass to avoid unnecessary popups.

On mobile it asks if I want to save a password to Proton Pass, which is great.
However, it does this every time I use Microsoft Authenticator 2FA, where you have to put in the number shown on screen. It would be nice to have an option to "stop asking for this app".

Brilliant, thank you Admin. Some things slip under the radar. :-)

Hi there, you can add domains to your pause list in the settings menu of the browser extension.

There are some logins that I definitely do NOT want to store in ProtonPass. No disrespect intended. There are some passwords that I want to stay in muscle-memory, that I want to keep in my head only. And as Terry said, it's better to keep 2FA separate from passwords.
It must surely be a fairly trivial addition to the system?

Some websites I do not want my passwords stored, but ProtonPass will keep asking me again and again every time I log in. I'd love a toggle to have it never ask me again, like browser-based form autofill features do.

I also want PP to stop asking me if I want to save the code I type into MS Authenticator.

I use eight banking apps very often, and every time I type a password, a popup appears asking to save it. It's very unproductive and annoying.

Proton Pass keeps asking off I want it to remember every time I type a 2 digit code into Microsoft Authenticator. Hugely annoying with the number of times a day I have to do this. Or maybe just don't prompt if it's three characters or less. Or an ignore app list similar to the split tunneling applications list on Proton VPN

My banking app asks for different numbers from my personal access code every time I use it & Proton Pass keeps asking if I want save the password. It would be nice to have an option to tell Pass to ignore this specific app.

Exactly. Also do this for android apps. It is rather annoying that I get a popup every time I open certain apps that only require 4 letter passwords/pins. And some passwords like a 2FA authenticator app password I'd rather not store in the same password manager as the password.

There are a few apps on my phone where I don't want or need my password/PIN to be saved (eg Authy) yet ProtonPass constantly asks if I want to save the password every time I enter it. I suggest a button is implemented on the save popup that will remember the website/app being prompted and if "don't ask again" is selected it will stop prompting to save for that particular item.

I agree this would be a great option

I was very surprised to find out, that Proton Pass doesn't have the functionality to "never save" a password for a specific site. From my knowledge, any other password manager does feature this very prominently. Admittedly, there are not many websites, for which I never want to save a password. However, these are usually the ones, which I use more often. It is just very frustrating, to repeatedly have to click "not now" or "x" when using certain logins.

Please add this functionality! I don't know of any other password manager, which doesn't have this option available. Although I am generally very happy with Proton Pass, if this feature doesn't get added, I might just be annoyed enough to always click "Not now" or "x", to switch back to another password manager.

For few Android apps I don't want to save the password, but PP asks every time I launch them. Please add a "Don't ask again" button on the pop-up and a way to remove the app from the list if I change my mind later.

Option per web site to NEVER remember a password. This is instead of having to tyype NO each time the web site is visited.
