1. QR code and one-time password login to Proton Authenticator

   Please add an option in Proton Authenticator to log in using a QR code and a temporary (one-time) password, similar to Yandex and their Yandex.Key.

   It’s very convenient: on the browser login page, there’s an option to log in via QR code. If you scan it with the authenticator app or even the camera, you are logged in automatically. If the authenticator isn’t installed on the phone, the link from the QR code is sent to the service’s app (e.g., email app), which then sends a notification like “Do you want to log in?” — this is how Yandex and Google do it, and it’s very handy.

   The temporary password is also useful because I don’t need to enter my username + password and then a 2FA code. It’s very secure, especially when logging in on a shared computer: I can either authorize via QR code or use a one-time password. This way, I don’t compromise my main email password.

   Please check how Yandex implements this with Yandex.Key. Proton really needs this type of login!

2. Offline version of Proton Pass

   To align with Keepass and strongbox, it would be helpful to have an offline version of Proton Pass. There are still some passwords that I do not carry on my phone because I do not wish to run the risk of losing the phone and have all passwords compromised. Those passwords stay home on an offline file reducing the exposure if a compromise happens.

3. proton pass integrated into the context menu (right click)

   Hello, please integrate ProtonPass into the context menu (right-click). This is a feature that other password managers offer (Bitwarden, Dashlane), but unfortunately ProtonPass is not integrated into the context menu. It would be great to add this feature. I don't understand why it wasn't included from the start. It's an essential feature and really handy in case of errors or incomplete forms.

4. Make Proton Authenticator for MacOS downloadable outside of the Apple App Store

   Please make the MacOS version of Proton Authenticator avaialable via DMG download.

   Currently, Proton Authenticator on MacOS is only available via the App Store, which requires signing in using an Apple Account. This shouldn't be necessary and seems like a huge miss for a privacy-focused product. I don't sign into my Mac with my Apple Account, and I'm sure many other privacy-focused individuals do the same. This makes Proton Authenticator entirely inaccessible for such users.
   I'd like to be able to install Proton Authenticator without using the App Store. Note that all other Proton apps for MacOS are available via a DMG download - it looks like Proton Authenticator is the only one that fully relies on the Apple App Store for distribution on MacOS.

   Add a comprehensive OAuth integration system that allows users to:

   I would love to see a feature that allows for in-app or in-plugin previews of attached documents.

8. Add another grade level of "Good/Average" in between "Weak" and "Strong" for password strength

   As a security-minded IT professional, I'm finding myself confused that very similar passwords are considered "Weak" or "Strong". If I generate a 14-character random password with lowercase, uppercase, numbers and symbols, Proton marks about half of them "Weak" and half "Strong". Similarly, all randomly generated 16-character lowercase passwords are marked "Vulnerable", while increasing that to 17 chars results in all being marked "Strong". There seems to be some strange inconsistencies with the grading algorithm (see another user's request titled "Improve the Accuracy for the Weak Password Detection").

   Regardless of user knowledge and experience level, and accepting for now the separate issue of inconsistencies with Proton Pass' password strength evaluation, a middle-ground classification for acceptable password strength would be more clear and and intuitive for users when considering their password hygiene and determining their own priorities.

10. Protecting a secure link with a password

    It would be great if we could additionally protect a secure link with a password. This would prevent anyone who happens to have the link or virus scanners that check every link in an email from accessing the sensitive data directly.

17. Add an option to filter logins by Vaults in ProtonPass web extension app

    Pass web extension app DESPERATELY needs an option to filter login infos per vault, as it is it makes no sense to separate logins in different vaults if we can't filter them out in the web extension app.
