  1. Copy/drag/paste

Suggestion - Add the capability to 'Click/Drag/Paste' from a Proton Pass 'Login' record's User Name/Password fields to the target User Name/Password fields. That is, the click/drag mouse event is a copy to the clipboard. On release of the mouse button the clip board is pasted into the target User Name/Password text box that the mouse pointer is hovering over. I often do work for a client, via a VPN connection, using Windows Remote Desktop(RD). Copy/Paste works for the dialog to initially connect to a remote machine. Unfortuneately, the RD "lock screen" does not accept Paste using right click of mouse…

  3. Avoid to store copied fields into clipboard managers

With the KeePassXC app, when I copy for instance the user or the password fields, the values are not stored in the clipboard manager of my system. In my case Klipper for KDE Neon Linux OS.
This is useful for improving the securitiy of my logins.

Allow creating aliases for new accounts in shared vaults. The alias should point to the owners mail of the shared vault, not the mail of the one creating the alias as this moves mails away from the origin account.

    Example:
Part A shared a vault with Part B and assigns Part B admin rights.
Part B should now be able to create new logins in the vault and setup email aliases on behalf of Part A, so that mails stays within the same setup and wont spread to numbers of shared attendees.

  7. Add a username generator feature to Proton Pass

    Hello!

Can you please add a feature to generate a random usernames?

Not every site uses email as login. Some websites need email + username.

This feature already exists in your competitors:
    https://nordpass.com/username-generator/
    https://www.lastpass.com/features/username-generator

  8. Make the GUI much easier to read and navigate

Please look at the interface used by 1Password. The text is large and easy to click on. There are 3 panels that organize the information easily: Item choices on the left, choice of items in the middle, and detail on the right. I want to switch from 1Password to ProtonPass but 1Password is way easier to look at and use.

Also, when I create a new login in ProtonPass, it should go immediately to that entry when I click 'Create'. It does not do that currently.

Just duplicate what they are doing and ProtonPass will be way better.

  9. Random Username Creator

Some websites use a username and password instead of an email. I would like to see a username generator for these websites as I would like to use different aliases for each website to improve my privacy, this would be a great addition to the password manager.

  10. Allow for multiple login options for the same site together in one entry

Many of us have multiple accounts for the same sites...like gmail and other mail servers or social networks...maybe even financial institutions. The password app that I will have to continue to use is set up so that you can add several logins for the same site, and they all show up in a single listing. All of my assorted personal and work gmail accounts are kept together, so I can view all of them at once, listed with the addresses and passwords grouped under the account name for that email address.

  11. Update Existing Login with additional website

Sometimes you use a login across multiple sites. If you don't have that website stored in the login it asks if you want to save a new login. Instead, it should ask if you want to add this site to this log-in or phrase it as an update. it would then store the new site as an additional site for these credentials to be used in.

While it may not be the best practice for security, it also serves to update login sites for the same site when the address is changed.

  12. Show current vault owner in browser extension icon.

The current browser extension icon doesn't indicate which vault owner is logged-in. I had an issue today when having my son sign-in to a site, but the vault only showed one entry for All Vaults. It turned out my daughter logged-in Proton Pass to my wife's vault. Once I got home, I logged out of hers, then logged into mine, and all was well.

I know this will be moot if, once the feature is implemented, I share my vault with all my family member's vaults. I think it would be useful to indicate which vault is logged-in on access…

  13. Add a Firefox Mobile browser extension for Android

Unlike most mobile browsers, Firefox on Android supports add-ons like Adguard or Bitwarden.

Having Proton Pass as one of them would allow easy access to login credentials without leaving the app.

  15. Templates for custom fields

Instead of having to type out every single label and its text contents, why not have an option of creating custom text box templates with labels and even contents set by the user? For example, an user might want to know which of their accounts utilize their external 2FA security key. With this feature added, they'd just have to click Edit > Add more > Select field template, after which they'd have a field named "Utilizes security key" for which they'd then have to select a binary answer of "Yes" or "No"; Or, they could select a template named "Phone…

  16. Show part of credentials notes field.

I'm admin and I use on some websites more than one account. The usernames often are cryptic like 'K132456' and I can't remember the proper assoziation to the real user. It would be very helpful to show a part of the notes field (maybe the first 10 letters), so one could find the right entry w/o trial and error.

  18. Credit card storage and offline credential capture

hello, i was hoping that we could get the storage of credit card/info etc. along with the capture of credentials even when the extention is locked. eset password manager does this and it would be really nice if proton was to implement this aswell as the credit card info storage/ identities storage for quick filling out online forms. unless this is completely besides the purpose of proton.

  20. Shared passwords not visible to delegated user

Can you please create a 'user' profile for those who can use the credentials but not view them? That would be utterly useful to us and to a bunch of our clients (my company is an IT consultancy a services firm) and this is something that Last Pass already offers on the business plans.
Also a business plans which allows to manage many Proton Pass accounts from a single dashboard would be a selling point.
Thanks and keep up with your excellent work!
