  1. Login session expiration

    Can we have the option for the login sessions to expire after a certain amount of days. 7,14,30. For example.
    In two password modes, only the logging password and not the mailbox password. Not talking about the new 2nd or 3rd password option that was added to PP.

  2. Improve iOS app design to follow native guidelines

    The iOS version of the app should feel more native by following Apple's design guidelines. Currently, the app's look feels off and does not integrate well with the iOS design language. It should appear as if it were a native iOS app built by Apple.

  3. Master Password or PIN code asked for specifics logins

    Some of the competitors (Bitwarden, Lastpass, ...) have a feature making more secure some logins.
    This feature is the possibility to ask the Master password or PIN code for specifics login information. Most of the time you keep your Password Manager open the more you can, and sometimes forget to lock it before leaving your computer alone. The automatic lock is not the only answer to this, cause in few seconds someone can use some of our logins before it locks.
    So, with this Master Passord or PIN code re-asked feature we could have this example:

  4. Do not display passwords when clicking a password field

    Once the ProtonPass browser's extension is installed, clicking a password field will actually display the password in a popover.
    I personally don't see any useful reason to display a 15 characters long password (which I won't even remember) to be displayed each time I click a registered password field.
    More than that, this kind of feature prevent me to use the whole software since I know that my passwords will be leaked if I am streaming / being in a visioconference, or if I am browsing on my computer with a client / customer currently watching my screen next to…

  5. Search by title only

    lets say i have primary email jon@gmail.com
    so i have hundreds of Logins saved where email is "jon@gmail.com"
    then i also want to have my password to gmail account saved - and it has title "Jon gmail".
    Now imagine situation i want to find the login record specifically for my gmail account. I type "jon gmail" and in the result i see hundreds of logins - because you make search by title OR by the actual login saved, so all hundreds of records where i used jon@gmail.com as my login email are pulled and its impossible to filter…

  6. Hide password when sharing with others

    Hi, when we share password with other users, the password is visible
    can you guys add a way to hide the password when sharing?
    lastpass/nordpass has this feature so other users doesnt know the password outside of protonpass

  8. Need Alternate field names for logins.

    Many sites now using "alternate" field names for "username" and "password." So forced to copy/paste each to get logged in. I tried creating "hidden" fields, but these do not show up as possible logins.

  11. One-step unlock and autofill

    I use a PIN to secure my Pass browser plug-in for Firefox. When I click the unlock icon in a pw field to unlock Pass and then put in my PIN, I have to click again to autofill my pw. Why not fill in the relevant pw automatically if the user unlock Pass from within a web page's pw field?

  12. Require 2FA for exporting

    It shouldn't be possible to export the whole vault within a few seconds without requiring a 2FA code.

    Sure, a person having access to the computer / phone would be able to access every entry within the vault when it's unlocked, but it shouldn't be possible to export every single entry within seconds

  13. Possibility to disguise the App Icon on Smartphones (not only for VPN-App, but all Apps!)

    As for Proton VPN it is possible to disguise the app icon to "weather cast", "notes" or "calculator". For Proton Pass (and also other Proton Apps) this is not possible - why? I think it was more usefull to disguise my password manager than my VPN app.

  15. Mail with alias

    Signed up for website using alias. Website responded that I am a bot and that I should contact them in case I think the message is unjustified. In order to mail them I would need to use the alias I created to stay consistent and not reveal my actual address. To the best of my knowledge that is not possible today.

  16. Choose how many letters and numbers used in passwords.

    I tried to create a password for X website, but...used to Apple's Keychain, I'm also used to 3 words, 20 character passwords and the app does not allow me to choose how many characters should be use by generated pass's.

  17. Time-lock options for all apps

    Currently the only app I use that has a time-lock feature is the ProtonPass extension. This works great but the fact that A) the browser ProtonMail site can be opened even when the ProtonPass extension is locked seems like a high security risk. Basically anybody who goes to the ProtonMail site can access my mailbox even when proton pass is locked. The only way to avoid this is to manually signout of proton each time which then signs me out of ProtonPass.

    As far as I can tell, the ProtonMail desktop app has the same limitation. Unless i manually sign…

  18. Make identities global (not URL dependent)

    The identities feature that was added recently is a great addition. Thank you, Proton team.

    Currently, it only shows the identities if the search bar's content is removed.

    I prefer that all identities be global and not URL- or search-bar-dependent. This way, I can access all identities on whatever site I am on without any extra steps.

  19. Simplify the left sidebar on desktop

    The left sidebar on desktop is too busy and makes using it on small screens quite difficult. It's difficult to see how this will scale up in its current form as more features get added to the product.

    The vaults list should be collapsible.

    Pass Monitor should be elevated to a main tab.

    A profile tab with secure links, settings, etc should be added like on mobile.

    Advanced, feedback, and mobile apps menus should be moved into the settings cog. Feedback, community links, and mobile apps could sit under the Support tab within settings.

  20. filters to select destination mailboxes

    Currently one alias redirects a copy of the original email to each mailbox set as destination, but imaging that I only want to redirect to a few mailboxes instead of all them depending on the sender.
    Best example is substack (and similar services). Substack only allows one email per account, I am subscribed to different topics (science, literature, etc...) and all them go into all mailboxes set for the alias corresponding to that substack account, which means all topics are merged into same destinations.
    A workaround for this would be to create one alias per topic and one substack account…
