  1. Implement Message Signing

    Several bitcoin brokers require that you sign a cryptographic message in order to prove the ownership of your bitcoin address.

    Because Proton Wallet does not implement this, I am locked out of my favorite brokers.

    I am not quite sure if Bitcoin mining is still "in" as of today, but it would be lovely to have a link to a safe and secure Bitcoin mining tool, which you can use with Proton Wallet.

  5. Add an option to create accounts compatible with Spark L2 Bitcoin

    Hi,

    Many people consider Proton Wallet not ideal to store life savings, but instead, good to store low Bitcoin amount and I think they are correct. So in my opinion make a lot of sense to implement Lightning, but instead of implementing Lightning directly, Proton should integrate https://spark.info/ L2 Bitcoin that has interoperability with Lightning. Users could choose to create Proton accounts compatible with Spark Bitcoin Layer. I think would be amazing, please consider this. Thanks.

  8. OpenAlias for Receiving BTC

    Proton's use of an email resolving to a crypto address is not unique, OpenAlias is a DNS-based open standard that has been around since 2014. This standard should be implemented so any wallet (like Cake or Electum) can send BTC to a Proton email address.

  11. I would like a deadman switch (inactivity monitor) build into the wallet that pairs with protonmail

    Basically, the proton suite is monitoring for user activity. If a given period (3 months for example) transpires with zero activity detected, a deadman switch is activated. Starting with numerous attempts to contact the presumed deceased through all available avenues (alternate email, text messages, etc). Then a final email announcing the initiation of deadman protocol. These preferences would be defined by each user but something along the lines of

    1. Who do you want to receive this email
    2. Dictate the email (may contain seed phrase or other crypto retrieval instructions)
    3. Permanently Delete or Share other Proton Suite data with specified contacts

  12. Alternative to Google Wallet

    Would it be imaginable to have a proton service that plays the same role as google wallet, and that would allow you to pay in NFC with a phone (let's be crazy, with graphene os) instead of samsung wallet for Samsung or apple pay for Iphone ?

    Private Banking for those who seek a way to keep money secure. Proton credit card can make it easy to access and trade money. Best yet is to grant the money to anybody to take over when I cannot. Maybe a trading account option, no risky trades, proton approved stocks only.

  16. Be able to be alerted when the price of the bitcoin goes under or higher than a certain amount

    It would be great to receive a notification when the price of the bitcoin goes higher or under a certain threshold. We could set the values and be alerted when the price changes fastly.

    Bitcoin is great but has serious limitations that will make a Bitcoin only ProtonWallet feel like a dead end.

    Integrating Ergo, an eUTXO PoW blockchain, into ProtonWallet is the logical next step. Read the manifesto and see that there are many philosophical alignments between Proton and Ergo. It provides better optional privacy with an already implemented and only non-custodial mixer in the entire cryptocurrency industry called ErgoMixer that is based on the ZeroJoin protocol, an improvement over CoinJoin, which would be impossible to implement on Bitcoin currently and probably ever.
