1. Adjusting audio quality (more below)

   The same microphones I use for other platforms aren't being picked up as readily on Proton Meet (web browser). When I first speak, the green bar on the platform's microphone doesn't show, as if my voice isn't reaching the microphone at all, then it starts showing but drops as I speak. When I asked the other participant if she could hear me clearly, she says when I start speaking, my voice is very low then rises to a normal volume before it fades in and out as I speak.

   Notes:

   1) From my side, the green bar on the microphone initially doesn't exist until they can hear me. When it fades in and out, I do see the microphone bar at a midpoint even when I speak uniformly at the same volume.
   2) This happens from my side only (the host). The other participant's voice is always conveniently audible.
   3) This happened with different participants at different times and internet networks.
   4) I removed the "noise cancellation" option, thinking it might be working a bit too strong, but the result was the same.
   5) This issue persists on the web version, but I don't intend on downloading the app (where this issue might not be present) because I find the web version far more flexible (It's one of the reasons why I previously switched from Zoom to Google Meet and find it such a relief Proton Meet has such a similar interface and style to Google Meet.).

3. Please change the link "create [meeting] in Proton Calendar"

   At the moment I will be directed to my browser and be required to sign in.
   Instead I do have the Mail app installed (windows). So it would be nice to be directed to the app and not the browser.

4. Please allow for selection of host mail adress

   For now my standard mail address is always selected es standard when creating a meeting within meet app on windows or within calendar.

   Having multiple aliases for specific use cases a selection is a must for I won't use my private address for business cases or vice versa.

   To be clear: I am not talking about simple login / Pass pseudonyms but about addresses I created in Mail.

5. Please allow the ability to copy availability hours from one booking page to another

   With regards to the booking page functionality, would it be possible for the functionality to be added whereby I can copy the hours I have set from one booking form to another...

   For example a personal trainer who has a booking form for an initial session and a booking form for a different type of session might have complex hours that aren't standard 9-5 hours and so it could be a bit of a hassle having to setup lots of different booking pages with these hours manually...

   To this end, could you please add a "copy hours from" type functionality whereby you can import the hours from another booking form you have already setup?

6. Save chat feature in Meet

   I would like to be able to download a transcript of the chat from my meetings. While it would also be nice to have this as a feature for attendees, even a host-only option would be helpful. Bonus points if the chat automatically saves upon exit (like in Zoom).

7. Automatic Download of Meet Recordings

   Hi Proton Meet Team,

   I'd like to provide feedback on the usability of the recording feature in Proton Meet and request a change to this feature.

   Current Problem:
   - I conducted a video call with recording enabled
   - When leaving the call, the download popup disappeared before I could click it
   - The recorded file is now nowhere to be found on my system
   - Neither in the Downloads folder nor anywhere else can I locate the MP4 file

   Background: Local storage without cloud backup is an important privacy feature for me. However, the intermediate step of an active download via popup after call end represents a UX risk. If the popup is missed, accidentally closed, or technically fails to display, the entire recording is lost.

   My Suggestion:
   Please implement an automatic download without popup confirmation, where the file is saved directly to the default local Downloads directory after the call ends.
   Optional addition: After leaving the call, show a summary page that displays download progress and confirms the file path.

   Why This Matters:
   For many users (myself included), the workflow is not intuitive. With other meeting tools, recordings are either automatically available in the cloud or stored locally without requiring manual confirmation steps. The current combination of local storage + manual download via a time-limited popup creates significant data loss risk.

   I hope this suggestion helps your product development. Proton Meet has great potential as a privacy-first video conferencing tool – small UX optimizations would significantly improve the user experience.

8. Include an option for Uncompressed Sound sharing (like Original Sound in Zoom)

   In Zoom there's a toggle for meeting organisers to turn on "Original Sound for Musicians", this disables sound compression and noise cancelling and allows the attendees to listen to the sound being shared without any distortion or compression.
   This is essential if sharing music as low frequencies get disabled by the compression algorithm.

9. Enable/disable specific webcams

   Allow the showing and hiding of specific webcams. Lets say there are two main speaker, let me hide all the other users and only show those two (three four etc) webcams. This is similar to focusing just a single speaker.

10. Please add more flexibility for billing with Meet

    Unlike calendar and mail, my needs for video conferencing are much more sporadic, so it doesn't make sense for me to have an ongoing subscription to Meet. However, if I want to buy one month of Meet, I have to switch my entire plan to month-to-month billing and lose the subscription benefits. It's much easier for me to just buy one month of some other software (Zoom in my case) as needed. If Meet could be handled more like an add on that could be purchased ad hoc without disrupting everything else in the plan, I would buy it.

11. On a portrait monitor the video tiles will be vertical instead of horizontal

    Allow re-sizing or reshaping or improve the automatic algorithim for adjusting video tiles, on a vertical monitor it goes lengthwise unless there's a picture being shared so it becomes horizontal stack style.

12. Have options to manage the time a meeting times out when only one person is present

    I'm a psychologist and I meet with clients using this software. Sometimes people have problems with their invite links or their hardware and it takes a few minutes for them to manage to get into the session. Proton Meet wants to end and shut down the session when I've been alone for some minutes (not sure how long) but please allow me to lengthen this time, as it would create a lot of trouble for me and my clients if the meeting was abruptly ended without me noticing (cause at that moment I might be sending them another invite link) and I would have to create a new one. Besides this, I find the software easy to use for me and my clients :)

    As part of a network called Language for Justice we aim to bring decolonial language accessibility online and currently the only qualitative platform with this feature is Zoom. It would be great to be able to have possibility to invite multiple interpreters for different languages (not only from EU by the way). Great feature for Interpreters would be also interpreters being able to switch and listen to each other without interrupting each other (they usually work in pairs) and also the host and co-hosts being able to manage the settings to be of best support.     I've never seen a video conferencing app do this before, and I admit that it is a niche use case, but being able to choose to mirror participants' video feeds could be useful when demonstrating things over video.

17. Integrate an AI notetaker

    An integration with AI note-taking tools would be extremely useful.

    Alternatively, a guideline/how-to on the integration of an existing AI note taker.

    Integration with Proton drive should be easy. If the AI note taker stores the files locally, then that is already provided using synchonized folders/files.

20. Sound that meeting end

    I have multiple situations when I speak and dont know that meeting is over and meeting windows was not in focus. The end meeting sound can be very helpful
