  1. Integrate an AI notetaker

An integration with AI note-taking tools would be extremely useful.

Alternatively, a guideline/how-to on the integration of an existing AI note taker.

Integration with Proton drive should be easy. If the AI note taker stores the files locally, then that is already provided using synchonized folders/files.

  2. Proton Meet currently lacks a native, built-in feature to share system audio during screen sharing

It seems that Proton Meet currently lacks a native, built-in feature to share system audio during screen sharing.

I think this needs to change soon.

  3. Deep Link For macOS

It would be great if deep linking was enabled for the desktop MacOS Meet app. As of now, if you open a link to a meeting from Proton Mail or Calendar it opens the link in the default browser (in my case, Safari). It would be helpful if, like other meeting apps, Safari would then pop up a dialog saying "Open in Proton Meet?"

This is done via deeplinking, the documentation for this is here https://developer.apple.com/documentation/xcode/allowing-apps-and-websites-to-link-to-your-content

I do not have the mobile app so I'm not sure if it's implemented there yet, but it's the same techniques for iOS.

  4. Integrate presentation features of Boom

There's an app called boom that adds a ton of great functionality to video calls. I'm not sure if an integration is possible due to the privacy nature of Proton, but if possible it would be seriously awesome. Worst case, if integration isn't possible, there are some really awesome ideas you could incorporate into future versions of Proton meet.

  6. Enable System Audio Sharing During Screen Sharing in Proton Meet

Currently, when sharing a browser tab or window in Proton Meet on Firefox, there is no option to transmit the associated audio alongside the video feed. Users can share screen visuals only, forcing workarounds like virtual audio cables or OBS routing that introduce complexity, latency, and potential points of failure.

Proposed Feature: Implement native audio capture during screen sharing so users can optionally enable "Share audio" checkboxes (similar to Google Meet, Zoom, and Teams) when selecting a tab/window/screen.

    Technical Context & Rationale

    Modern browsers handle this differently:

Chrome/Edge (Chromium): Expose tab-capture APIs (getDisplayMedia with audio: true) allowing single-tab audio injection

  7. Touch up my apparence

On zoom there is these options to touch up apparence with a scale of improving and it is great. Also the image seems too large on Meet, the face is less large in regard with the background.

  8. Keyboard shortcuts for camera/microphone actions

Comparing with G Meet, they have shortcuts ⌘/Ctrl + D (to toggle Audio) and ⌘/Ctrl + E (to toggle Video), which is incredibly useful in larger meetings or if you're switching back and forth between windows or tabs to quickly unmute yourself.

  9. Native Phone Functionality in Proton Meet

I would like to propose that Proton Meet introduce a native phone calling layer — essentially a privacy-first equivalent of the Phone System central in Microsoft Teams. The goal is simple: make it possible to place and receive real telephone calls (PSTN) directly from within Proton Meet, without ever leaving the Proton ecosystem.

    What I Am Proposing

A unified voice communication module embedded in Proton Meet that allows users to:

Make and receive calls to/from regular phone numbers (PSTN) directly from the Proton Meet interface — no separate app, no third-party VoIP provider required.

Maintain a personal and shared contact…
