    Not my original idea, I found the suggestion in an old deleted reddit post on r/ProtonMail, but it was oddly devoid of any response or acknowledgement. The user has since been deleted, or I would fully credit them.

    Make a 1x1 widget that displays the Proton Calendar icon with the number of the current day of the month, thus it bypasses the OS limitations mentioned by Proton in a similar request here on UserVoice.

    Tapping on the widget would then open Proton Calendar as the regular icon does. This widget can then be used as a normal app icon.

    Spreadsheets with modern capabilities, I think it's important to point this out.

    It would be of no use to me if the implemented sheet service is just something like SUM and INDEX/MATCH, when even LibreOffice has recently implemented some of Office 365/Google Sheet's functions: XLOOKUP, SEQUENCE, XMATCH, and so on.
