This is already implemented on an app/process basis on Windows and Android (can't speak for Mac, iOS or Linux) is this a request for a specific platform or something else?

There's also a privacy risk when split tunneling especially when done without explicit knowledge of the user since any data used outside the VPN could expose the public IP of the user. Could it be you mean something like load balancing with multiple VPN connections?

Proton VPN isn't really made for minors to be used, With that in mind, you may want to look into privacy respecting parental controls on specific platforms that you need modified.

If you're not able to find a suitable tool or a VPN is necessary, you can use a desktop computer as a VPN gateway with the features you want/need including PiHole functionality with a connection to Proton VPN

I would love to see this so I could keep my devices synced with notifications and other things. having an optional solution for ZeroTier would be very helpful especially on Android where I can't run two separate VPNs simultaneously

Currently all three of these systems have feature parity; the gap is in terms of UI, and this is something that we have in our plans to close.

not sure what you mean by tiles or inline, but it utilizes the proper android password manager API but it is definitely lacking draw on top functionality and redirecting to the app can break some app's login pages

As per the Spring/Summer Roadmap, this is being developed: https://proton.me/blog/pass-roadmap-spring-summer-2026

Folders will be a significant building block for Proton Pass that will go beyond just helping you organize your items. Introducing folders will require some rethinking of our cryptography model, which we’re currently working on. Eventually, you’ll also be able to share folders and subfolders just like your vaults and individual items, giving you another flexible way to share access.

Folders will be available in the coming months. As well as creating vaults, you’ll be able to create dedicated folders and subfolders to organize crucial information for quick retrieval: you can organize by project, by team, by year, or whatever else you need.

HOW IS THIS NOT A THING YET!?!?

this has been here since 2022 and rudimentary version of it is already integrated into Proton Mail. What's the hold up?

This is about the easiest thing to do...
If storage is an issue, use proton drive to store the info.
If it's the UI, you've already got one in Proton Mail, just move it to it's own page.
If it's the app, use an open source app as the base

I want to move completely away from "Big Tech" but not having contacts sync or regularly backed up is a REALLY tough sell for many people who want to simply move without hassle

It could be something like one time payment for retention of basic features like
10GB email storage independent of drive
    10GB drive storage
    Proton Pass 2fa
    retain custom domain(s) if set

This would allow retention of basic functions in case of an inability to pay/unwillingness to pay while keeping the functions that people rely on accessible without being forced to move to a less private platform
