    Yes I agree.
It is very tedious having to log in and out of my other two free acounts from my paid account.

If Proton is letting me have multiple accounts it seems perverse to then restrict my ability to access them simultaneously.

    ..further to that.

It would be good to be able to exclude countries that you dont want to be connected to on the free servers too.

    Also for security reasons.

    Hi Kris. Great idea.

FYI : free accounts on Proton VPN had this until a few weeks ago.

Each countries free-server had an on/off button and underneath the button there was an indication of the load on that server.

Users got to choose which country to connect to based on load - but also their other personal requirements.

Unfortunately Proton has now dumped this feature for free accounts.
Upsetting all the free account users (many of whom are paid ProtonMail clients).

Good luck with this excellent suggestion - and now you know that the code already exists...!

    Hi. Is this a thing?
Why would a paid subscriber ever want be downgraded to a overloaded free server anyway?

FYI: ProtonVPN has recently also started reducing the few country choices previously available to free accounts - Now an algorithm decides where you connect to - supposedly to more efficiently "load shed" on these "overloaded" servers. (Against the opinion of those customers)

If the suggestion on this page was adopted - not pushing paid VPN accounts onto the free servers, then bot-driven "load sharing" also wouldn't be neccesary for free acounts.

And primium paid servers would be exclusively for paid accounts.
    Everyone wins.
C'mon Proton - reverse your bad decision on free servers - and add the button suggested here

I totally agree with all these comments.
I tried raising this issue with the VPN helpdesk - but just got a lot of marketing spin about how the number of servers is increasing. But CHOICE is the only issue AFAIK. As a relatively long time proton user and paying PM user - it really is a deal killer for me too as far as VPN goes. Bad idea guys and girlz!
