I don't support this proposal. Proton cannot develop an AI that runs on the cloud. Our data is encrypted and can't be decrypted on their servers. So, the AI must run on the user's device (It must be a tiny model since it will run on mobile devices and desktops). I'm OK with that.
However, I mostly agree with what Tully says about cloud AIs.

We can have 25 calendars but a single Proton Drive. The entire drive is mounted when we use the Proton Drive Desktop App. In its current state, Proton Drive is secure but not private. Because of this, I have not yet fully transferred my cloud storage to Proton Drive.
I'm still using Google Drive. To secure my files, I'm using VeraCrypt. For privacy, I'm using its hidden volume feature. So, all the content is secure, and my chat backups, financial documents, etc., are both secure and privately stored in the hidden volume.

Introducing Docs in Proton Drive – collaborative document editing that’s actually private: https://proton.me/blog/docs-proton-drive
With Docs you can:
- Write with privacy — Create and edit documents within Proton Drive, knowing your contents are only accessible to you and those you choose to share with.
- Share and invite anyone — Invite other users to view or edit your documents with a single click.
- Collaborate in real-time — Changes are reflected immediately, ensuring every contributor always sees the most up-to-date version.
- View cursors and presence indicators — See who else is viewing or editing the document, enhancing teamwork and communication.
- Leave comments and replies — Add comments to share feedback without editing the document. Comments are visible to all collaborators, keeping everyone in the loop.
- Import and export with ease — You can upload .docx documents, edit them, and download in various formats like .docx, .txt, .md, and HTML.

To the Proton team: Please also consider SimpleLogin users while implementing this. If the email is coming through SimpleLogin, then the message details pane should show the check results of the original email using the ARC headers.
