    Perhaps you could meet this requirement by allowing multiple instances of the ProtonMail app to run at once. Then we could have mail & calendar both open.

    Outlook supports this. It's a surprising limitation in Proton.

    Outlook has this feature. It's very useful when dividing screen space while multitasking between windows.
