It is true, that the corruption it comes from fingerprint resistance. Using a hardened Firefox browser I suffered, and just moving to a common browser, it doesn't happened anymore.
Anyway, it can happen that most of people using Drive have multiple corrupted thumbnails on their storage and they cannot know which photo/video they have.
We must to have an option for do that regeneration/refresh/update of the thumbnails of our content in our storage.

That must be a standard obviously. That it must to be across all apps on every OS and different devices versions.
It does not make sense to have privacy by default, but not restrict the access to our data with any kind of protection.

We need a proper dedicated photos app. I have a subscription to Ente, since using Proton Drive for photos is a pain. Is slow, thumbnails can be corrupted, very difficult to organize photos and videos. The idea should be to migrate all mi family into Proton Drive/Photos, but it is impossible at the moment.
As many people said, there are other projects as Docs or Sheets, that being honest should not be on the top of priorities on the development of Proton Drive.
Even maybe it will be better to partner with Ente, since they are doing great in order to have a proper private Photos cloud storage, basically same mindset as Proton regards privacy.
