This really needs more attention. I am in the process of switching to Proton from Gmail, and I thought Gmail could be terrible at search from time to time, but Proton really beats it.
Content search is crucial, without content search it is very difficult to find information on the go. In addition to searching in the e-mail body, I would like the search to find information in attachments as well.
It's 2025, don't say it is not possible, because I know it is if enough resources are put on it.

I also wish for a way to filter notifications, a bit like Fastmail does it.
At Fastmail you can select to have notifications for everyone, for VIP contacts, or for contacts that is added to your contact list. Contacts can automatically be created when you send an email to a recipient - in that way creating a list of contacts that you most likely would like to have notifications for.
I would also like to have the ability to mute a specific conversation. (The conversation functionality also needs to be fixed to actually group by conversation and not by sender and subject btw.)
