100% this should be a thing. It would simplify notes so much. There is some basic Markdown support in 1Password too which makes it great to read

As per the Spring/Summer Roadmap, this is being developed: https://proton.me/blog/pass-roadmap-spring-summer-2026
Folders will be a significant building block for Proton Pass that will go beyond just helping you organize your items. Introducing folders will require some rethinking of our cryptography model, which we’re currently working on. Eventually, you’ll also be able to share folders and subfolders just like your vaults and individual items, giving you another flexible way to share access.
Folders will be available in the coming months. As well as creating vaults, you’ll be able to create dedicated folders and subfolders to organize crucial information for quick retrieval: you can organize by project, by team, by year, or whatever else you need.

I will be using Proton Pass, but indeed something like folders or tags is missing. I use tags extensively in 1Password

Currently thinking about fully moving to the Proton Suite, but for the password manager having no ssh agent is a major blocked as I need to manage multiple ssh keys

Standard Noted is nice but I want something that can compete with OneNote or Obsidian. I currently am using Obsidian with Git sync, but it would be nice to omit this Git sync part and just sync it via the cloud in Proton with E2E encryption.
It doesn't need to be anything fancy, just a clean UI with the Proton Styling and Markdown support (incl. Images). If possible something like a Kannan Board would be great but I can also work around that if it isn't in the mvp
