I am planning on replacing both Dropbox and Evernote with Proton drive. It would be great to drop GeniusScan as well. However, I would need to be able to forward those documents through other apps, since my Outlook account is the only way secure enough for my companies security standards.

I would also like to be able to add outside mail and have a unified inbox.

I understand not being able to load Proton into outside apps without the bridge, but admitting I am ignorant, don't know why Proton won't allow their mail app to pull in outside accounts. Most people who use Proton must be somewhat tech savvy, which means they probably have multiple accounts. Like another poster mentioned, it is probably a reason Proton would miss out on more business, if users have to use multiple email email applications. My wife already refuses to use her Proton email address for this reason and has switched to using just her gmail account.
