I have used the current beta version of Proton Mail for Linux. It works, but for people that write in multiple languages like me, the Proton Mail inside the web browser is much better. I use the Brave web browser and I configured it for both Spanish and English and can write my emails in the browser in both languages without spell checker issues. But if I write them in the beta version of Desktop Proton Mail then everything I write in Spanish is marked as having spelling errors as my OS is setup in English. In Brave I setup the language using brave://settings/languages I think that it should be easy for your developers to expose these settings in your application too.

I currently use Synology drive under Linux and it works great. I am now setting up a team and would like to use Proton Drive, but I just can't until there is an official Linux client. If Synology can do it you can do it. Go Proton go!
