I just signed up for two years with a paid proton plan mainly and especially for the calendar function.
I have made several calendars all with a different color as I need to differentiate at all very clearly between my events as categories to see as to what kind of event it is.
But now I discovered that all past events lose their full color and become grey with just a tiny line at the side of them having the original color.
I need to look back to past events a lot and still need to be able to differentiate between the categories my events belong to.This crucial to not lose overview.
Them all being grey just won't do.It is a real disaster for me and I therefor may have chosen the wrong calender provider in Proton.
Moreover, I don't really understand this choice of Proton: everybody understands that yesterdays events and those of last week are in the past. They don't really need to change color for people to be extra sure they were in the past.
Since all my events are greyish now I must bypass that problem by unchecking the calenders checkboxes and look at one calendar at the time which is a lot of extra work.
And the small line/dot of color on the side, I just can't see the color of it very well. Bad eyesight I suppose.
I'd request all past events of all calendars be fully colored at all times. Or be able to chose the greying out of past events voluntarily per calender settingsand leave them colored as a standard.
I'd be willing to wait for this feature to change, but if you are sure you won't be doing it in the near future I may have spent the money for a two-year subscription in vain.
