Yes, please. I am also waiting for this app and the ability to sync my Android contacts with Proton Contacts.

Proton Calendar is a fantastic privacy-first alternative to Google Calendar, and I use it daily. However, one feature I genuinely miss from other calendar apps is the ability to format event descriptions with rich text.
Currently, descriptions are limited to plain text. It would be incredibly useful to be able to use:
Bold, italic, and underline for emphasis
Bullet points and numbered lists for structured information
Clickable links for meeting URLs, documents, or references
This would make event descriptions significantly more readable and useful, especially for complex meetings or events with multiple agenda items.
I believe this is a widely expected feature in any modern calendar application, and adding it would bring Proton Calendar closer to feature parity with alternatives like Google Calendar — without compromising on privacy.
