    3 years in the making (or not, who knows?) but this is a minimum. I hate anything that's iOS approach to "we tell you how it should look" black or white, for something that MUST be an easy fix. Come on now! I run Simple Calendar Widget on my Android, which allows you to change EVERYTHING including transparency. At least add colours option to the widget, including text colour.
