I see why this option would be voted down but I think I could over time come to swallow the pill of paying upwards of $5,000 for lifetime for using 80% of the functions of visionary (all the features I use)
Not a ote for cheaper plans but for a lifetime option (business wise this also may make sense for a @protonmail.com email account only as its free advertising and business accounts are high volume and cost also to keep everything operating smoothly for these business accounts)
P.S. I would not switch to a non Business account/ Visionary to use Lifetime

I needed this feature just today.
I wanted to share three sensitive items but instead of uploading them as one zip file (the receiver was too cautious of zip files) I had to provide three separate password protected expiring links which was a bit time consuming.
It would be a nice addition to start off by sharing all contents inside a folder including any files and folders in its hierarchy (risky because of accidental sharing) and then add on to this feature in the future to include "exceptions/exclusions", different passwords for different files when sending to a group of recipients with mixed levels of access (maybe this one be advanced feature for visionary), and an option to allow commenting on a file (both visible to group who has link and private), Include a like function to be more social (wishful thinking and viewable by same all users with link or option of private and between user), Option to allow users to upload content request to your secure cloud

Thank you for your suggestion. Password security is incredibly important and something we take very seriously at Proton Technologies. We will consider add a Password Manager to our product suite roadmap.

Gravatar is a great API to integrate with
"My Files" - Stored and counts against your storage
"Shared Files" - Must be shared option from above but visible here and manageable list of who has access to this vault and in the future the below could be implemented

"Shared with Family"
"Shared with Close Friends"
"Shared with Media"
*** Obviously everyone would have to have a protondrive account with Free tier able to view only what's shared with them as they have to at this time upgrade to get storage.
